Just like us, dogs have their own preferences when it comes to play. Your pup might love a good game of chase or wrestling with friends, while another dog may be happier exploring, playing with a smaller group, or getting some one-on-one attention.

Understanding how your dog likes to play helps us get a better sense of what they enjoy and where they’re most comfortable.

Apparently, somebody forgot to tell these pups that morning playgroup isn't a full-contact Olympic sport. 😂💜

🎓 Training Tip Tuesday: Practice a strong “leave it.”

Fall walks mean plenty of things for your dog to sniff and investigate, including a few things you’d rather they leave alone, like acorns, mushrooms, or dropped food.

Practice “leave it” at home first with something that’s easy for your dog to ignore. When they leave it alone and look back to you, reward them.
