It’s a MIA!

Mia is the BIG puppy. At just 5 months old, she’s bigger than almost all her friends here at GAK9 Athens! Despite her size, this baby is just the sweetest girl and loves everyone. We’ve got this girl in for 4 weeks to learn all about being the best girl possible. So far she’s become excellent on the leash, greets people politely, has learned cues from friends to be respectful in play, developed a better understanding for her crate and resting, and has tuned up all her obedience commands and house manners! We’ve got two more weeks to dial it all in even more and work on our off leash reliability. This girls going to have a great life ahead with all her early training! We’ve already been to three different states and she’s had a blast traveling—we can’t wait to hear about all her adventures after she goes back home!

Oooooooodles of doodles!

Board & trains Remi, Ruby, Earl, & Tito + an alum back for boarding, Charlie, have all been living it up with their trainers! From trips to the coast, downtown hangs, getting out to all the parks, store visits, and so much more, these pupperoonies are getting valuable environmental training all while having fun.

Welcome cute duo Remi & Ruby, the goldendoodles! These two are stepping up their obedience game with and doing GREAT! Two puppies is no joke—double the work, mess, trouble, energy… but they’re well on their way to learning how to be model citizens 🐶🐶

It’s graduation day for Stormie the !!

If you’ve been following long enough, you’ve seen a featured English Cocker Spaniel named Shotzee, whom was my merry little sidekick for over 15 years. This might paint the picture of how wonderful it’s been to have Stormie in training with us for the last two weeks!

Stormie quickly picked up the basics and was adventure ready almost instantly! Conquering the world one pet friendly store, park and restaurant patio at a time—not to mention a super fun beach trip and her first stay at an Airbnb! She’s been just about everywhere with us and loved every second.
Today, she returns home to .hair and where she will keep up her skills, keep exploring the world and getting pup cups, be doted on by the girls at and mayyyyyybe not bother her fur siblings as much at home. 😆

Just a few short weeks until Stormie is back for boarding and we are already counting down the days and planning new adventures!

Doodle bros, Earl & Tito, have been here a few days and are starting to build up their trust with me enough to get out and work today! These two have some major confidence building and reformation ahead. We’re ironing out reactivity, separation anxiety, sibling rivalry, and a number of other things. I know these guys have it in them to be model citizens, as you can see in today’s lesson out they’re shaping right up! 🏫 ✏️ 😇
