On my way home from another really fulfilling weekend centered around dogs, education, and getting to share what I love.
Friday started with a private lesson with one of my students, Lauren Lewis , focusing on the finer details of the Wire Fox Terrier. Even better, I got to spend the day with two of my favorite terriers.
Saturday, I had the honor of judging a mock conformation show for a training group I used to attend with my own dogs. I especially enjoyed studying some breeds I don’t get to put my hands on as often, and my Best in Show winner was a beautiful Borzoi who apparently liked me just as much as I liked him. Thank you Jo Lynn for having me.
Then Sunday was all about combination coats, spaniels, and even a couple of terriers that snuck into the mix. Huge thank you to GajeelThePoodle 🐩 for the perfect space, Connie Hinton for making the drive with Radar, and to Kynlee Dixon | DOG GROOMER 🐾✂️ and Lauren for the friendship, help, and support that made the whole weekend even better.
Very grateful for the opportunities, the dogs, the students, and the people who make weekends like this possible.
I’ll share a full seminar recap next week.
