As a mom of boys and an English horse trainer, I get asked all the time, “Are you going to try for that girl?” 😂

Honestly? If we ever decide to have one more, I’d be just as excited for another boy. I already get my fill of being a horse-trainer girl mom every day at the barn. 💕🐴

I’m lucky to spend my days teaching, cheering on, and watching so many amazing young riders grow in and out of the saddle. Between my boys at home and my barn girls (and boys), I feel pretty blessed.

We had another local celebrity hit the scene at JVF! The Mayor of Hoschton, Debbie Martin and 4 grandkids! Needless to say, we had fun horsing around 😎🥰🐴

Some evenings just fill your cup in the simplest ways 🤍

Spent the evening with two of my sweet boarders, had a visit with my favorite farrier, Spencer Dixon, spread Bermuda seed, cleaned stalls, blew out the barn, and dumped manure just in time before the rain rolled in.

Now the barn is clean, the rain is hitting the tin roof, and Kacey Musgraves’ cover of “Neon Moon” is playing… and honestly, it just feels like one of those little peaceful moments you never want to end 🌧️🐴✨

Even better—getting to catch up with a fellow Northeast Georgia horse girl and to reminisce on the good old days made it that much more special!
