Baby Opal is only 11 months old, so we do very few repetitions, but luckily she's a thinker and loves to figure things out

Opal has the Monday morning blues :( I don't think I'm anthropomorphizing here, I think it's totally reasonable that she recognizes how much more enrichment she gets on the weekends, and that today starts a string of five boring days. I gave her and Mercy kongs, left the t v on, opened the blinds for them and even made myself late to give them a five minute run in the big backyard. But I'm still feeling mom guilt this morning. What do other working moms due to make the workdays better?

Opal had already enjoyed a full day of: puzzles, naps, playing with Mercy, an outting to Kelly's, playing with Kelly's dogs, agility training, walking in the woods, sunset by the lake on the dock, tugging, snacks, love and affection. It was time to settle, or so thought Mom.
