Amazingly proud auntie moment today!!! I was fortunate enough to be part of the racing career for this mare's dam. She had multiple wins on the track and was then retired as a broodmare. This is her first foal - and what a spectacular filly she is!!! Her connections have continued to let me tag along for her journey, and we drove 10+ hours today to be able to see her race in person. And BOY WAS IT WORTH IT. Perfect drive by Dex and quite a race to break her maiden. Unbelievable. Miss you Merlot, you sure have a great legacy here with Dandy 🥰🥰.

Why choose a standardbred ... because WHY NOT!!! This horse was last ridden almost 2 years ago - to the day. Since then he's been racing weekly and living the life of a professional athlete. Hes fit, fresh and sound. A week ago his connections retired him and he was delivered to my care - I hadnt seen him in almost 2 years. Today I pulled out my riding equipment, hopped right on - no lunge, no walk around, no acclimation to his surroundings, nothing - and I went for a ride around the property. No buck. No bolt. No funny business. Just a horse willing to ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING I ask of him. So I ask again ... why choose a Standardbred ... because WHY NOT!!! Heres to the next chapter Rockette Baby ❤️❤️. That's a wrap on the New York county fairs for 2026!!! Regulus Black "Reggie" had already secured his spot in the fair final. So today was just a "have fun and stay safe" kind of day. Looking forward to September 6th when the top 8 in points square off to crown the king. And then Reggie comes back to Tioga for winter racing. Big shout out to Rothfuss Racing and the whole team for a fun summer.

OHH is very excited to announce the addition of a new mare to the resident mare herd. "Seven Curtsies" aka "Connie" was purchased last fall and has spent the summer racing at Tioga Downs. She is now preparing for her next chapter as a broodmare. Sired by the World Champion Chapter Seven, we are extremely excited for the possibilities her foals will have. Welcome home Connie 🥰🥰🥰

Looking for part time farm help. Evening chores 5-7 nights a week. Required work varies from 1-3 hrs each day. Theres always extra to do if more hours is what you need. Horse experience is mandatory. Edit: This is a year round position offering part time hours. It is not a seasonal position.

UPDATE: Bruno has made HUGE progress. We are battling neonatal maladjustment syndrome (dummy foal) with a full compliment of: unable to stand unassisted, unable to latch & nurse and a patent urachus (umbilicus leaked urine). The last 36 hours have been a true test of faith. From assisting him to his feet once an hour around the clock, to bottle feeding with colostrum from his mother every hour on the hour around the clock to extra frequent naval dips along with antibiotics and supportive medications ... he has now checked ALL of the boxes!!! He even threw feet at me tonight when I checked his temp, but thats ok, I'll take it. Hes now able to stand unassisted, able to latch and nurse at will, he has no more urine dribbling and his IgG is greater than 800!!! This little man is already a champion!!
