💜Happy National Veterinary Technician Week!💜

They comfort your pets, support our vets, and are true heroes in scrubs. Our vet techs are the heart and backbone of what we do. They work tirelessly behind the scenes, love every patient like their own, and somehow manage to keep things running even on the craziest days. Not everyone knows the extent of what they do, but it is truly incredible what each member of this team can accomplish in a shift.

🩺 You are nurses.
🩻 You are radiology technicians.
🦷 You are dental hygienists.
🩹 You are surgical technicians.
🔬 You are lab technicians.
💉 You are anesthetists.
💊 You are pharmacy technicians.
🦸‍♀️ You are superhero’s without the cape
And you are so much more than even all of that.

We are beyond grateful for their dedication, compassion, knowledge, hard work, and the countless things they do that often go unseen. While this week is dedicated to celebrating them, we appreciate each of them EVERY SINGLE DAY! Thank you for everything you do. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

Today we get to celebrate all the hardworking, smiling faces that make Atchison Animal Clinic go. As we head to the Sporting KC game this evening to enjoy our time together, our availability to see emergencies will be limited. We will resume normal full scope emergency services Sunday morning. Thank you!

Happy Boss’s Day to Dr. Hansen and Dr. Cowan!

To say we are grateful for these two would be an understatement! We cannot express enough appreciation for everything they do for our team, our patients, and our clinic. Their hard work, dedication, leadership, and unwavering support never go unnoticed.

We truly wouldn’t be able to do what we do without them. Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and creating a workplace where we can learn, grow, laugh, and love what we do every day.

We are incredibly lucky to have not only amazing veterinarians, but even better bosses! Thank you both for everything you do, especially the things that often go unseen. We appreciate you more than words can express! 💙🐶🐱

Our summer help is officially heading back to school! 📚🐾 We’re so thankful for all the hard work, extra hands, and laughs you all brought to the clinic this summer. You were a huge help, and we’re going to miss having you around! 💙

Thank you for everything, and enjoy school! We’re cheering you on!

We’re definitely going to miss you around here… especially that glorious mustache. So naturally, we all grew our own to make your departure a little less painful. 😂🥸

Thanks for all the laughs, memories, and for letting us be part of your journey!

Don’t forget us… or our mustaches. 😉

Goodbye, Dr. Nick🐾

Dr. Nick had the unexpected opportunity to buy back his dad’s clinic from corporate—a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that he just couldn’t pass up. We couldn’t be happier for him as he gets to return home and continue the legacy that started it all.

We’re definitely sad to see Dr. Nick go, but we’re so grateful we got to be a part of his journey! We loved having him here at Atchison Animal Clinic—getting to learn from him, laugh with him, and make plenty of memories along the way. 🐾

While we’ll miss him around here, we’re excited for his next chapter as he heads back home to Arkansas! 🏡

Thank you for all the laughs, hard work, and good times! We’re wishing you nothing but the best in this exciting next chapter. We’ll miss you! ❤️🐾

Same doctors. Different hair. Questionable fashion choices. Absolutely zero regrets. 💀📸
