This sweet girl was dropped off at the police department and we’re hoping to find her owner!

🚨 OUR KENNELS ARE FULL! WE NEED ADOPTERS & FOSTERS NOW MORE THAN EVER! 🚨

Between dogs running at large, neglect cases, and owner surrenders, we are OVER capacity and overwhelmed. Our kennel is full, and these sweet babies need our community now more than ever.

💔 Some of these dogs have been waiting over a YEAR for a home. A year of kennel walls, limited space, and dreaming of something more.

They deserve a soft bed to curl up on, a yard to play in, a family to love, and a place to finally call HOME. 🏡

If you are missing this girl, please text Michelle at 785-217-0640! This gal showed up at her house and she brought her in to scan for a chip but no luck. She is keeping her safe at her house for the night. You MUST provide photo proof that she is yours so we make sure she goes to the right home. Please share!

🆘5-6 MONTH OLD FEMALE PUP FOUND🆘

Reportedly there is also a black medium size dog still running that has been running for at least a couple hours today with this sweet and timid baby. She has some weird spots on her head and was found in the 1300 block of Atchison Street.

If you see these two running please call (913)367-5530 IMMEDIATELY this is a busy street and we want to keep them safe!! Last seen near AT&T when the finder lost track of them in the woods across the street. We are combing the area but haven't been able to get eyes on them. 🆘STILL TRYING TO GET HER HOME🆘

This girl was seen running around Forest Park Avenue Thursday evening and was picked up by PD. She finally ate but she is STRESSED and the kennel is not good for her. She seems generally well taken care of and if she has a home, we want to get her back there.

If it is a matter of you needing to rehome her and that is why you haven’t reclaimed, we could try to help by posting her in rescue groups and in rehoming groups on Facebook. Dumping her and making her stay in an environment where she is hurting herself is not the answer. Some dogs are okay here, others cannot handle it.

If you know who this young female belongs to, please speak up. We don’t take calls on the weekend, but if you call and leave a voicemail that can help us get her back into a home, I will contact you. Or send us a message. Thank you.

🆘DOG CHASING LIVESTOCK🆘

This video is from as close to the dog that the homeowner can get. They say that their home is approximately 600 ft away from the road and that’s as close as the dog will get when someone is visible. However the dog has been chasing livestock in several areas along 242nd Road and we are hoping to find an owner or rescue willing to take in a fearful, border collie-looking dog before it is shot by folks protecting their animals.

The homeowner is feeding it and for her, shooting it is the last resort. But she needs help and unfortunately we cannot go outside city limits. If anyone recognizes a border collie that is all black with the exception of the small white area on his/her throat, please contact us at 913-367-5530 or send us a message and I can get you into contact with this homeowner. 🆘TWO FOUND FEMALES🆘

Last night officers brought in two females running loose. The Vizla especially is sooo stressed out and the black baby refuses to eat and we would love to get these kiddos home.

The Vizla was found in the 1300 block of Fox Street.

The black female with a cute underbite was found around 2100 Forest Park Avenue.
