Lorraine worked with me as one of my apprentices on the ranch in Spain, she was such a valuable member of our team. When she left she was full of life, new ideas and desperately keen to work with her horses at home in Ireland, now she’s fighting for her life every single day and we all are desperately hoping that she can get these diseases under some level of control please help and if you can’t donate please share ♥️

Lorraine was an apprentice of mine on my natural horsemanshi… Tracy Ford needs your support for URGENT MEDICAL AND DENTAL BILLS.....PLEASE HELP LORRAINE NOW

Today I’m holding space for the family, friends, students, and countless horse lovers whose lives were changed by Monty Roberts known affectionately as The Horse Whisperer.

In the late ’90s, I found my way into natural horsemanship through his work—and through the way he taught people to listen. He didn’t just show techniques; he helped us learn how to read horse language: body, breath, timing, intention. He made it click that horses aren’t “difficult”—they’re communicating.

I was taught by the first step he gave me: how to observe, how to slow down, and how energy and body position shape what happens next.

Going into the horse world with his certification in my hand Monty inspired me to take that foundation and develop my own unique way of working with horses—using energy, respect, and the belief that understanding is needed not corrections.

Thank you, Monty Roberts, for the gift you left in so many hearts. You will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace. 🤍🐴

At the End of my Rope

At the end of my rope, what is it that I see
Just an ordinary horse, or a soul that needs me

At the end of my rope, is there fear or real trust
Frustration and pain or a need to be near?

At the end of my rope, just how would it feel
To be me, not my horse, at the end of that lead?

Through his eyes I would see, with his body I’d talk
Make my feelings clear as alongside I walk.

At the end of the rope what now can I see?
Is it simply a horse, or a reflection of me?

This was apparently my most liked Facebook photo....I have a mix of feelings about it...i want people to see it’s not coming from an act of dominance but from from a place of humble connection......❤️
