🐾 CHANGES ARE COMING TO HAPPY PAWS — NOVEMBER 1ST 🐾

As mentioned in my previous post, beginning November 1st, I will be adjusting my pricing and making some changes to the way I operate Happy Paws Pet Grooming.

After almost five years in business, I’ve realized that growth isn’t always about doing more — sometimes it’s about slowing down and doing things better. ❤️

Going forward, I will be taking fewer dogs per day and spacing appointments out more, allowing me to create a calmer, more personal grooming environment with more individualized attention for each pet.

These changes will allow me to:

🐾 Provide more one-on-one time with each dog
🐾 Create a calmer, less stressful grooming experience
🐾 Continue using and investing in high-quality products
🐾 Focus on quality of care rather than quantity of appointments
🐾 Better protect my own physical, emotional, and mental well-being so I can continue doing the work I love

Running a small business over the last several years has taught me so much. The world — and the cost of doing business — has changed tremendously since COVID. I know many of us are feeling the weight of the economy, and I don’t take raising prices lightly.

At the same time, I have learned that in order for Happy Paws to remain sustainable, I have to create healthy boundaries and make changes that allow me to provide the level of care your pets deserve without sacrificing my own well-being in the process.

These changes won’t happen overnight. Over the next few months, I’ll slowly be adjusting schedules, appointments, products and the overall flow of the salon. I truly appreciate your patience while I work through this transition.

To my loyal clients who have trusted me with their pets, supported my small business, recommended me to friends and family, and continued showing up through some incredibly difficult years — you are the reason Happy Paws is still here.

I am incredibly grateful for the support this community has given my little business for nearly five years. ❤️

This next chapter of Happy Paws is about quality over quantity, calmer care, healthier boundaries, and continuing to give your pets the love and attention they deserve.

I will also be updating my Bath & Brush pricing and will have those prices posted within the next couple of days.

I’ll be breaking down the de-shedding process, what is included, and explaining any additional à la carte services and pricing so everything is clear and easy to understand.

The grooming industry is always changing, and over the years clients may come and go. But I want to take a moment to say how incredibly grateful I am for the clients who continue to choose Happy Paws, trust me with their pets, and appreciate the time, hard work, and dedication that goes into what I do. ❤️

Pet grooming is so much more than a service. It’s a relationship built over time between groomer, pet, and owner. It takes communication, understanding, patience, and most importantly — trust. I truly value the relationships I’ve built with so many of you and your animals.

✨ I’m excited to announce that my books have opened again for new clients! Space is still limited, but I do have some client slots available to fill. My books will be open until these spots are reserved and filled.

At this time, I have availability for:

🐶 Golden Retrievers/Labs
🐶 Other single, double or triple coated breeds.
✂️ Simple/maintenance haircuts on some small-medium breeds.

I currently have more Bath & Brush and Cat Grooming availability, than I do haircut availability.

Unfortunately, I am NOT accepting new Doodle clients at this time due to the amount of time and workload their grooming typically requires. This may change in the future, but for now I’m happy to be opening my books to many other breeds, services and grooming needs.

At Happy Paws Pet Grooming, your pet feels right at home while they’re pampered. We’re a small, family-style salon where each pet is carefully assessed and scheduled on an hourly rotating basis. Grooming happens in a rotating flow to keep things calm and organized, but no pet is left unattended or kept in kennels. With limited kennel space, we tailor each service to fit your pet’s needs.

Space is limited, and we’re happy to welcome a few more clients this summer.
