Talk about brand recognition…

Some businesses wrap their vehicles.

Some buy billboards.

We put a glowing dog taking a s**t in the back window.

Everybody has their own strategy.

We’re the p**p people. We have a reputation to uphold. 😂💩

🥋 Meet Bruce Lee.

With a name like Bruce Lee, you’d expect a pretty tough guy. And he is… if you’re a dog toy. 😂

We got to hang out with Bruce Lee while cleaning at the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, and this big guy is just an absolute sweetheart. He was calm and gentle with us, but the second it was time to play, he was ready. And if the pictures haven’t already given it away, Bruce Lee REALLY loves his toys. 😂 Plastic and rubber toys seemed to be his favorites, and there was rarely a moment when he wasn’t proudly carrying one around.

Even with toys everywhere, though, Bruce Lee still made time for the important stuff… coming over to soak up some pets. ❤️ He knows quite a few commands, listens well, and has this really nice balance of being playful without being completely wild about it.

The APL says Bruce Lee has been having a hard time with all of the noise and activity of shelter life. And that’s probably the hardest part of writing about him, because the Bruce Lee we got to meet was simply a really good dog having a really good time.

He played. He explored. He came over for attention. He carried his toys around like they were his most prized possessions.

For a little while, Bruce Lee just got to be somebody’s dog.

And we’d really like to see that become permanent.

The APL says Bruce Lee is housebroken, friendly with new people, good with cats, and has previously lived with a small dog and a cat. He’s only 3 years old, and there’s a whole lot of playing, lounging, loving and toy destruction left for this guy to do.

Bruce Lee doesn’t need anything extraordinary.

He just needs someone to look at that big goofy face and say, “Come on, buddy. Let’s go home.” ❤️🐾

Bruce Lee is available for adoption through the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League.

Please share Bruce Lee. Somewhere out there, Bruce Lee’s person is missing one hell of a good boy.

And several dog toys they haven’t purchased yet. 😂

Well… this story ended up having a pretty awesome ending, and we have 440 Graphics, LLC to thank for it. ❤️

A little while back, while we were inside a gas station, someone stole one of our truck magnets. Of all the things in this world someone could steal, apparently an advertisement for picking up dog p**p made the list. 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

We shared what happened, and 440 Graphics saw it and reached out. They offered to replace the stolen magnet, which would have been incredibly generous on its own, but they didn’t stop there. They replaced BOTH of them and gave Koby’s Cleanup a little makeover in the process, completely on them. ❤️

So we figured the two people who have watched this little business grow right alongside us should get to do the honors of putting them back where they belong. ❤️🐾

It might just look like a couple of kids slapping a magnet onto a truck with absolutely no regard for whether their mother wanted it straight 😂, but this one means a lot to our family.

We built this from very little, one yard and one customer at a time, and our kids have watched the whole thing happen. Along the way, this community has hired us, recommended us, laughed with us, supported the things we care about, and helped turn a little idea into something that supports our family.

440 Graphics didn’t have to do any of this. They saw something crappy happen to another small local business and decided to turn it into something pretty damn cool instead. They could have simply replaced what was taken and we would have been incredibly grateful. Instead, they went above and beyond and gave our family a moment we’ll remember forever.

So please go check out 440 Graphics, give their page some love, and keep them in mind the next time you need something done. They’ve certainly earned some lifelong fans in our household. ❤️

To 440 Graphics, seriously, thank you. And to this community that continues to support our family and this little thing we built, thank you, too. ❤️🐾

Now, kids… nice and straight. 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Meet Tipsy ❤️

Some dogs run up to you and immediately demand your attention. Tipsy doesn’t need to.

When we met this sweet 4 year old girl at the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, she was perfectly content wandering around the yard, sniffing, exploring, and checking everything out at her own pace. Honestly, there was something really endearing about watching her just enjoy being outside.

She seems like the kind of dog who would be perfectly happy joining you for an adventure - exploring a trail, taking a walk somewhere new, or just wandering around the backyard while you enjoy the day together. 🥹 But don’t mistake her independence for not wanting affection. The second you offer Tipsy some love, she is more than happy to accept it. ❤️ She was incredibly sweet and calm with us, and when treats came out, she took them from our hands so gently.

She isn’t asking for much. A place to explore, someone to come home to, and a hand reaching down every once in a while to remind her that she’s loved.

And maybe an ice cream cone occasionally, because according to the APL, apparently this girl has developed some pretty strong opinions about those. 😂🍦

Tipsy already knows how to enjoy the little things. Now she just needs someone to enjoy them with. ❤️

If you think that person might be you, Tipsy is waiting at the Ashtabula County Animal Protective League. And if she isn’t your dog, a share might help her find the person whose dog she is. 🐾❤️

Because every dog deserves somebody.

To whoever decided to steal the Koby’s Cleanup magnet off our vehicle at the gas station this morning , thank you.

Seriously.

To you, it was probably just a magnet. Maybe you thought it was funny. Maybe you wanted it for some reason we’ll never understand.

But that magnet meant a hell of a lot more to us than whatever it cost.

When we were trying to get Koby’s Cleanup off the ground, that magnet was some of the only advertising we could afford. We couldn’t dump hundreds or thousands of dollars into ads. So we put that magnet on our vehicle and drove around hoping somebody would see it, remember the name, and maybe give this little family business a chance.

That magnet was there through eight months of us showering out of a 5-gallon bucket because we didn’t have hot water at home. It was there when it felt like everything around us was crumbling and this business gave us something to hold onto. Something we could actually build ourselves.

It was there for the disgusting yards, the long days, the first customers, the milestones, and all the times we weren’t sure this crazy idea was actually going to work.

So yeah, we can buy another magnet.

But you didn’t just take a cheap piece of advertising off a vehicle. You took something that represented a chapter of our lives when we didn’t have much, but we still had hope that if we worked hard enough, things could get better.

So enjoy the magnet, I guess.

We’ll replace it.

You can’t take what it helped us build.
