Sami the white husky is home!!! Scroll down to see the original post below, edited with an update.

EDIT: SAMI is home! A neighbor kid found her in his shed with her leash wrapped on some equipment, leaving her stuck. Her owner doesn't really know what happened with her, although she seems to have been on her own, as she is thin and tired. She is, of course, going to the vet tomorrow for a checkup. Thanks to everyone for sharing and watching for her!

Hank's mom was telling me that a week ago, a farmer had a bunch of cows escape. He managed to get most of them back on the farm, but one is still loose and despite being a very large black (in the white snow) animal, it still very difficult to locate it. So it's not surprising that a much smaller, white husky in white snow would be much harder to spot.

Long-time Peppy Paws Pooch Sami has gone runabout from her home on County Road 175 (Polk-Cinnamon Lake-West Salem area), as huskies are prone to do, and her owner is very worried, as previously when she had escaped she had returned once her desire to run was satisfied.

She is easy to identify, as you can see in the pics below. If you are in the area and see a dog of her description, please let me know by texting 419-606-2395. She's super friendly but has an independent streak. It's quite possible that she was picked up by a passing motorist.

Please share: the more eyes who know, the more likely she'll be found. Her owner is offering a reward for her return.

😂😂😂😂 Little Skip is providing this evening's entertainment, racing around the bedroom like a crazy dog, leaping at Big Mac, running through his legs, while Mac pretends to try to catch him, pawing at him, whirling around, chasing him. Skip races under the chairs, but Mac is too big and has to go around.

Earlier on this rainy day, Skip was stretched out on a big dog bed and Mac took his entire head in his mouth. Other times, when Skip is up on our bed, Mac puts his front legs on the bed and wrestles him with his face at Skip's level. They take turns sparring at each other.

Sometimes Sophie joins in, but Skip and Mac are the youngsters with energy to burn.

This was something new: Cleo (an 8 mo old female Plott Hound) carefully plucked a fallen leaf out of the water bucket before drinking!

Cleo recently joined Holly's family.

Farewell to sweet Nessa. She passed in her sleep at her home this evening. She was such a character, always very tolerant, hilarious when she would get excited about something, ready to relax. Cheryl rescued her in the second half of her life and gave her a wonderful caring home, complete with regular nose butter and wrinkle wipes. I'll forever remember how she would always bypass the bottom of the ramp she used to get in and out of her car, preferring to "jump" on from the side. My condolences to Cheryl for her loss.

Bernie and Sandy just arrived; their first time at Peppy Paws. So far they have met Julio and Hank. In a little bit Ahna will join the party...😊
