Missing my people back home a little extra lately. ❤️

I’ve been thinking about all of my wonderful clients who, somewhere along the way, became so much more than clients—they became friends. I miss seeing your faces, catching up on life, laughing together, and of course, I miss all of those sweet fur babies! 🐾❤️ I hope every one of you is doing well, and please give those babies some extra love from me.

Moving to Florida was such a huge change for our family, but we knew it was something we needed to do for Jim and his health. We’ve been through a lot to get to this point, and we are finally getting very close to having some answers. We should know the transplant committee’s decision next Friday. 🙏

We continue to pray that this move, all the appointments, tests, sacrifices, and unknowns will lead us to the kidney transplant we’ve been hoping and praying for.

I miss you all more than you know. Even though there are many miles between us now, I still think about you and your families—and yes, your fur babies too! ❤️🐶🐾

Keep us in your prayers as we head into this very important week. Hopefully next Friday brings the news we’ve been waiting for. 🙏💚

💛 A Little BloomingTail’s Update 🐾

As of today, BloomingTail’s Pet Spa is officially closed. I don’t think I realized just how emotional it would be to say that.

Over the years, so many of you became more than clients—you became family. I’ve watched your sweet fur babies grow up, celebrated their milestones, loved on them, spoiled them, and probably talked to them way more than they wanted me to. 😂 And I’m going to miss all of those little conversations with their moms and dads just as much.

Thank you for trusting me with your babies and for supporting my little business through the years. I will forever be grateful for every appointment, referral, kind word, hug, laugh, and friendship. ❤️

Now our next chapter is officially here. We’re moving to Florida on Friday, and Jim has his first doctor appointments Thursday and Friday as we continue this journey toward his kidney transplant.

It’s definitely bittersweet—so much excitement and hope for what’s ahead, but also a whole lot of sadness leaving behind people and pups we love.

Thank you for being part of BloomingTail’s and part of our lives. I’m going to miss all of you and those sweet furry faces more than you know. 🐾❤️

🐾 BloomingTail’s Clients — She’s officially booking! 🐾

I know many of you have been asking what you’re going to do once I move, and I’m so happy to share that Katie with Johnson Paws LLC is now accepting appointments beginning the week of August 17th! ❤️

Leaving my grooming clients has been one of the hardest parts of this move. So many of you — and your babies — have been with me for years, and you truly became so much more than clients. 🥹🐶

I feel so much better knowing you have someone local to reach out to. I’ve been sharing grooming notes and information on many of your pups to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

As many of you know, our family is preparing for our move to Florida so my husband can continue his kidney transplant journey. While it is bittersweet to close this chapter, it gives me so much peace knowing I can recommend someone I believe will take great care of your precious fur babies.

To all of my wonderful grooming families…

I’ve been working on something behind the scenes, and I’m praying it comes together. ❤️ While all the details aren’t finalized yet, my hope is that it will truly be a blessing for everyone involved.

As many of you know, closing my grooming business has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. But I also believe that God has a bigger plan than I can see right now. I’m trusting that this next step is part of His plan—not only for my husband’s kidney transplant journey, but also for each of you and your sweet pups.

Please keep praying that everything falls into place. As soon as I have all the details worked out, I’ll share them with you. Thank you for your patience, your support, and for being such an incredible part of our lives. It means more than you’ll ever know. ❤️🐾
