*UPDATE*

We are still in recovery and closed to all intakes. We have welcomed another dwarf litter from Pom Pom and Kinley.

It will likely be a couple of weeks before things get back on track. Please be patient with us as we navigate these recent health issues.

We still have 6 amazing boys that are ready for their forever home!

*URGENT*

Due to an emergency medical situation the rattery is closed to intakes until further notice. Adoptions will be done only through appointments and volunteers availability.

Please be patient with messages as they will be answered when possible and based on the volunteers availability.

We appreciate your understanding and we will hopefully be back and operational soon.

Another rescue in our area asked us about a little 3 leg boy. They didnt have anyone to be his friend.

They named him Lemiwink. He looks to be around 2 months old. He is missing his front leg which makes climbing very difficult. He has been treated for mites. But otherwise looks fairly healthy.

We are likely going to see how well he does with Stuart and possibly an older boy.

He will require a very large low profile set up with minimal or accommodated climbing.

If you are interested in possibly adopting and have the ability to accommodate please message us. If intros go well he will be paired with Stuart our albino rescue and possibly an older male returned to us in need of friends.

Update on our little Stuart....

He is now tick free and fully treated! He is gaining weight and growing like a w**d. He has a lot of energy now that he has proper nutrition.

Stuart LOVES people! He is not shy at all. He comes running to visit anyone who is willing to give him attention. He loves to play and get pets. He will lick you in gratitude for the attention you give him.

His availability is still pending.

Stuart needs your help!

We are needing your help with our newest rescue boy Stuart.

He was likely a failed feeder. He was found in a dryer vent. Unfortunately he has several ticks on his face. We have attempted to remove them but due to the locations have been unsuccessful.

Stuart is approximately 2 months and extremely stressed out so we feel it best to seek assistance from the vet to have the ticks removed.

If you are able to assist us with funds to get him to the vet. A visit is $80 and may require sedation to safely remove the ticks. Anything even a share can help!

Stuart is the most perfect boy. It amazes me he was dumped. He is outgoing, loves to cuddle, grooms, and is over all so trusting and loving.

*Cage Inspiration*

We are downsizing the rattery. Due to this we are making some changes with our cages.

We still wanted to allow the dwarfs to have an area to tunnel. They have 1 side deep base 14.5 inches the short side is 5.5 inches.

This is our new set up for the dwarf boys!! The dwarf girls will get the same bases with a different set up.

Yes, 12 inch wheels are perfectly safe for dwarf rats!
