A little over a week ago, we said goodbye to our beloved Siegfried. 🤎

And the way his family found him felt a little like everything lining up exactly when it was supposed to.

A longtime Collabordoodle family reached out to let us know they were going to be in Asheville, and it happened to be the very same day we were already headed that way. So we decided to meet up and bring our remaining puppies along for them to spend some time with.

And sweet Siegfried found his people.
He went home that day with this wonderful couple, and one of my favorite parts of the whole story is that his new big brother, Cooper, is one of our Collabordoodles from eight years ago. Even sweeter, Cooper is actually the brother of Siegfried’s grandfather, making him Siegfried’s great-uncle. 🥹

There is something so special about watching these family lines come full circle like that.
Siegfried, now Rocky, has settled beautifully into his new life and is absolutely living his best life with his family and Cooper. We miss that wise, soulful boy, but knowing he landed exactly where he belongs makes saying goodbye so much sweeter.

I’m still not entirely convinced little white dogs were made for farm life… but Trudy would strongly disagree. 😂🤍

Somehow every piece of hay, grass, leaf, and whatever else the farm has to offer finds its way into that beautiful white coat. This is sweet Trudy in all her pre-bath glory, perched on top of a hay roll with the autumn sun shining through her fur and a little rainbow dancing across her.

She may come inside looking like she brought half the farm with her, but goodness, she cleans up beautifully. 😂

And truthfully, she absolutely loves this life. She loves being outside, exploring, being with the children, following us around, and soaking up every bit of the world around her. Happy, scruffy, loved, and completely living her best little life.

Trudy is almost 20 weeks old now and is still waiting for the family who will call her theirs. She is our last Maltipoo puppy, and she is such a sweet, spunky, affectionate little companion.

Maybe her forever family is out there looking for a little white farm girl who doesn’t mind getting her paws dirty. 🤍🐾

Sweet Siegfried is still waiting for his person. 🤎

And honestly, how can you resist that face? He has such a regal presence about him. I really feel like the Rough Collie comes through so beautifully in Siegfried, especially in his expression and that noble, thoughtful way he carries himself, while you can still see that soft doodle sweetness too.

He is our last available boy from the Meadow × Laddie litter, and he has always been such a calm, soulful little old soul. Gentle, observant, affectionate, and incredibly connected once he settles in with you.

Maple is 11 weeks old today. 🍁🤎

Our sweet girl is now the last available female, and one of just two puppies still waiting for their families from our Meadow × Laddie litter.

This litter has been so deeply loved, and watching each puppy leave and become exactly what we hoped they would be, devoted, joyful companions to their families, has made these last two feel extra special.

Maple is gentle, soulful, affectionate, and absolutely gorgeous. She’s our smallest girl, with the sweetest heart and those beautiful expressive eyes. She has such a calm presence for a puppy, but still loves to play, explore, and be right in the middle of family life.

Only Maple and Siegfried remain. 🤎

Honig found her family. 🤎

Yesterday, we carried three little mountain-raised puppies — Honig, Siegfried, and Maple — down to Lake Norman so Scott and Tara could meet them at home.

They had wondered beforehand how they would ever choose.

They didn’t have to wonder for long.

Within minutes, Honig had made herself at home — as though she had simply arrived where she was meant to be.

She leaned into them. Followed them. Settled beside them.

And somehow, they both knew the same thing at the same time.

Honig was theirs.

And now she has a new name for this next chapter:

Honig is now Tilly. 🤎

From the mountains to Davidson, from one family into another, her story keeps unfolding.

We couldn’t be happier for Scott, Tara, and the little girl who already seemed to know she was home.

There once was a little girl named Lassie, with one blue eye, one brown eye, and a heart as happy as a sunbeam. 🤎

While her brothers and sisters are beginning their own adventures, Lassie’s story is continuing right here at home with us.

She has already decided that she is quite an important little helper. If there is work being done, Lassie would very much like to be involved. On this particular afternoon, that meant supervising the vacuuming, keeping a close eye on the Festool, and making sure no one forgot that puppy cuddles are an essential part of every job.

There is something so endearing about this little girl. The way she watches the world, those beautiful mismatched eyes, her happy little spirit, and the sweetness she carries with her wherever she goes.

This whole litter has felt especially precious to us. Each puppy has brought something different and beautiful, and somehow Lassie feels like a little piece of this season that we weren’t quite ready to say goodbye to.

So she stays. 🤎

Sweet Maple. 🍁🤎 Ten weeks old today, and goodness, isn’t she beautiful? Those eyelashes alone. 🥹

Maple is one of our last three available puppies from this fall litter, and she has the sweetest little old-soul spirit. She is gentle, calm, thoughtful, and so easy to handle. She’ll sit quietly through her bath and stays beautifully still while we trim around her eyes. There is just such a softness about her.

She is also the smallest puppy in the litter, and we’re estimating she may mature around 30–35 pounds.

And then there’s that coloring. 🤎 She is such a flashy little girl, with those rich warm tones, beautiful white markings, and the sweetest face. The longer her coat grows, the prettier she seems to get.

Maple has such a tender heart and peaceful nature. I truly think whoever gets to call this beautiful girl theirs is going to feel incredibly blessed.

Ten weeks old today, and doesn’t Siegfried look like he was made for autumn? 🍂🤎

His coloring feels like October somehow, all those soft earthy shades of gold, cream, charcoal, and brown. He really is the perfect little fall puppy.

Siegfried is our last available male from this litter, and I’ll admit, he is one I’ve been holding back a little in my heart.

There is something different about him.

He has such a calm, old-soul nature. He is thoughtful, observant, gentle, and remarkably settled for such a young puppy. There is a quiet wisdom about him, almost a nobility, as though he takes everything in before deciding what he thinks of the world.

He isn’t the puppy trying to be the loudest in the room. He is the one who watches, connects, and somehow feels like he has been here before.

And if you’ve ever loved a dog so deeply that part of you has wondered whether that soul might someday find its way back to you in another form… Siegfried is the kind of puppy who makes you wonder. 🤎

He is 10 weeks old today and still waiting for the family who recognizes something familiar in those eyes.

Ten weeks old today, and sitting pretty. 🍂🤎

October 1st gave us the perfect kind of autumn afternoon for taking our grooming table outside and practicing all the little things that will become part of life as these puppies grow: brushing, nail trims, and a little tidying around those beautiful eyes.

And sweet Honig was quite pleased to be the model. 😍

This girl is truly something special. Her warm honey-colored coat is absolutely stunning, and you just don’t see many doodles with coloring quite like hers. But as beautiful as she is, it’s her personality that really makes her shine.

Honig is spunky and playful, incredibly bright, affectionate, and so wonderfully connective. She loves looking right into your eyes and engaging with you. She wants to be part of whatever you’re doing, and there is just so much joy packed into this little girl.

She is one of the last three puppies available from our fall litter, and at ten weeks old we’re getting to see more and more of who she really is. She is fun, confident, loving, and the kind of puppy I think is going to form an incredibly special bond with her person.

We’ve had some interest in Honig already, but as of today she is still available. And I have a feeling whoever finally says, “She’s ours,” is going to feel very lucky they did. 🤎

🦷 Somebody lost her very first tooth! 🥹🤍

And judging by that smile, I think Trudy is pretty proud of herself. 😂

Our sweet girl was born May 23rd, and this week she officially reached another little puppy milestone. Her first baby tooth is gone! Somehow these tiny milestones make us realize just how quickly they grow.

Trudy is the last of our Maltipoo puppies still looking for her forever home. We’ve had so much interest in her, and even had someone scheduled to come meet her last weekend who unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. So perhaps her person simply hasn’t found her yet. 🤍

She is such a special little girl. Sweet, spunky, affectionate, playful, incredibly social, and full of personality. She has been raised here on our little farm with our six children and is wonderful with kids and other dogs. She loves people, loves going places, and would absolutely thrive with someone who wants a little companion to truly share life with.

She sleeps in her crate at night, is comfortable with her crate and playpen, and is transitioning beautifully to going potty outside.

Her mama is our Maltese, Sui, and her daddy is our Maltipoo, Toto. We expect Trudy to mature around 8–12 pounds.
