Generous use of indoor plants and three zones of ventilation ensure virus and odor control and contribute to the feeling of a friendly, healing atmosphere. More important than our facility is our staff. 🌟 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: DR. KEELEY PEEK MEDLIN! 🐾💙

If you’ve been part of the All Pets family for a while, you may remember Dr. Peek from a few years ago… when she joined our team as an assistant! And now, two years later, she’s coming back to All Pets as Dr. Keeley Peek Medlin! 🥹🎓🐾

Talk about a FULL CIRCLE MOMENT! ❤️

Dr. Peek is surgery, ultrasound, and exotic animals! 🦎🐱🐶 She is also currently working toward her veterinary acupuncture certification, and we can’t wait to offer acupuncture services to our patients soon! Stay tuned! 👀✨

Dr. Peek has been working in veterinary medicine since high school, but her love for animals started long before that. Growing up as an Asheville native, she spent her childhood exploring the outdoors and bringing home just about every injured or orphaned animal she could find. 🐦🦎🐢 She always wanted to find them a safe place where they could receive the care they needed.

It wasn’t until high school that she realized, “I’m going to be a veterinarian.” From that point on, she couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

After graduating from NC State, Dr. Peek returned to where part of her journey began — All Pets! And we couldn’t be more excited to have her back on our team in this new chapter. 💙

When asked what she loves most about veterinary medicine, she says it’s the fact that you never know what is going to walk through the door! One day it might be a chameleon, the next a kitten, and then a 30-year-old bird. 🦎🐱🦜 She loves the uniqueness of every patient and, most importantly, getting to experience the incredible human-animal bond with each pet and their family.

She’s excited to continue growing her skills and providing amazing care to all of our wonderful patients and clients!

📚 She loves drinking a good cup of tea and getting lost in a book.
🎣 She enjoys fishing and hiking with her husband and their dog.
🐱 She has two cats, Piper & Minnow
🐶 And one very special dog, Rosie

“🐾 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MADISON! 🐾

Everyone, meet Madison, RVT! 💙 We are so excited to have her as part of the All Pets family!

Madison is Fear Free Handling Certified veterinary professional and is certified in BLS & ALS Recovery as well as Beef Quality Assurance (BQA). She has a special interest in surgery and caring for our smaller patients, especially pocket pets like guinea pigs and hamsters! 🐹🐰

Madison is just beginning her journey in veterinary medicine, having worked in the field for less than a year. She joined us at All Pets in May 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited to help her grow, learn, and expand on everything she learned in school. 🥰

She recently graduated from AB Tech and has officially passed her VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Examination), earning her the title of Registered Veterinary Technician! 🎓🎉 If you missed our graduation post, be sure to check it out on our page!

Madison has always loved science and medicine, so she knew that combining those passions with her love for animals would eventually lead her to veterinary medicine. And we are SO glad it did! ❤️

One of Madison’s favorite days at the clinic is surgery day! 🩺 She loves being able to put all of her skills to work to help keep your beloved pets safe throughout anesthesia and make sure they receive excellent care during their post-op recovery.

She’s also a little obsessed with looking at slides under the microscope! 🔬🧫 Whether it’s blood, urine, or ear cytology, Madison loves investigating what’s happening on a microscopic level and reporting her findings back to our doctors. Science nerds unite! 😂

When she’s not at All Pets, Madison is kept busy by her three amazing cats 🐱🐱🐱 and enjoys baking, sewing, and gardening — or as she calls them, her “grandma activities.” 😂

Don’t worry, Madison… we’re hoping you and Crystal become baking competitors. We all win in that situation. 🍪😂

And finally, one of Madison’s biggest goals is to travel abroad and volunteer her veterinary skills to help animals in need. 🌎🐾 We absolutely love seeing the passion she already has for this profession and can’t wait to see where her journey takes her!

Staff Spotlight: Dr. Grant, DVM 🐾💜

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Dr. Grant, DVM! ✨

Dr. Grant has been working in veterinary medicine since 1982, when she started working at a veterinary hospital during the summers while completing her undergraduate studies. She went on to attend NC State University and graduated in 1988. We are incredibly lucky to have had Dr. Grant as part of the All Pets family for 20 years and counting! 🐾

Dr. Grant has always known that working with animals was her calling. In fact, when she was just 4 years old, she would play veterinarian with her cats. They were certainly some very patient patients! 😹🩺 From babies to seniors, Dr. Grant loves helping our four-legged family members through every season of their lives and helping them thrive along the way.

Her special interests include ultrasound, geriatric patients, exotics, and surgery. She also loves continuing her education and traveling, often combining educational opportunities with exploring new and amazing places. 🌎✈️

When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll often find Dr. Grant practicing yoga 🧘‍♀️ or enjoying one of her favorite yoga classes. And if you didn’t already think she was adventurous enough, she is also an avid scuba diver! 🤿 She often travels at least once a year to see incredible sharks and marine life.

We absolutely love Dr. Grant and are so thankful for the knowledge, compassion, and dedication she brings to All Pets every day. Thank you for 20 wonderful years, Dr. Grant! 🐾💜
