Heey frens! Someone has asked me to help find temporary homes for these two love bugs. They are Nico (boy with the white stripe on his head) and Arteya (girl without stripe). They're 7 month old brother and sister. Their people will be living in apartments until they're able to find a house, and the pups aren't allowed in the apartment.

They play well with other dogs, have been around cats before and do okay with them other than having lots of energy that most cats aren't crazy about. Haven't been around young kids yet.

They are not spayed or neutered yet, so they probably need to go to separate places unfortunately (mom is trying to convince daughter to have it done). They are vaccinated.

Nico and Arteya are very sweet and loving and their people want to be able to keep them, are just having trouble with housing! Lemme know if anyone has ideas, or knows anyone who might be able to take either of them for a while. - McKel

Heeey folks! This is Bumi, he's a 2 year old german shepherd. His person moved into a new place where he was told it was okay to have a dog, then the landlord changed their mind. So he is looking for someone to foster Bumi until he gets his tax return next year and can pay for a new place.
According to his person, Bumi "gets along with other animals and kids, he's such a sweet boy and he's all about affection." He does bark when someone knocks on the door, and may jump on you when he first meets you, but then sniffs and is playful. He is not neutered, and the person he was acquired from said he was vaccinated but gave no proof of vaccination. If someone is interested and able to foster this boy, I will ask his person about getting him vaccinated before having him go anywhere.

Hey frens! This is Millie, she is a 10 month old female spayed mix breed pup. Her person realized she isn't able to care for her anymore, so Millie needs a new home. She is up to date on vaccines, loves other dogs, and is generally very sweet. If you're interested in fostering or adopting, lemme know and I can arrange a meeting! - McKel

Our friend Druid has met a couple of potential adopters, but would still really love to be fostered until he gets into a home. Right now he's at a boarding facility where they really love him, but a quiet home with a dedicated person is even better! He's about 2 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, great with other dogs, and so far has been okay with cats. Let us know if you're interested, even in just fostering for a bit! Or adopting!

Heya friends! We're still here, and still figuring out how to do our thing. In the meantime, folks still need help getting emergency care for their beloveds. Heya friends, I'm posting about this boy Druid on behalf of a friend . . . Druid is about 1 year old, neutered and UTD on vaccines. His person is houseless right now, and has covid, so they've been unable to take care of him for a while. He's been boarding with the shelter for too long, and because he can be reactive to other dogs, the shelter is no longer an option for him. He is dog selective, but has lived well with other dogs before. He would need an experienced dog foster to take care of him, but we're not sure how long he would need the care. His person definitely wants to be with him again, so this is just a foster situation. Let me know if you're able and willing to hang onto this boy. He needs a temporary home so he can be with his person again!

We'd like to officially apologize for being so quiet lately, and would like to offer this portrait of Jelly the cat as a peace offering. We hope you admire Jelly as much as we do.

But seriously, we're still here, we're just figuring things out and finding our groove and what works for us. We still want to help the critters in our community, and still want to see everyone taken care of 🖤

Spotted downtown at the courthouse yesterday 😳🐰 Probably stating their case against rabbits being used as Easter gifts. Whatever holiday you're celebrating this week, please remember that animals deserve to be cared for because their lives have value, period. They deserve far more than to be bought as a cute gift for kids. Or to be part of your Sunday dinner for that matter. No one is a commodity.
