I had to say goodbye to my beloved Kit-E suddenly on Thursday.
The house and my heart felt depressingly empty when I came home Friday.
Today I visited Esther Neonatal Kitten Alliance “just to look”. Ha ha!

Sometimes the spicy kitties prefer you let them enjoy contact without you touching them. Let them do the work, and watch for signs of overstimulation. Then use soft tools - like a pillow to make space between you if they do start reaching the threshold.
Lola is awesome and a sweet cat, but she requires respect and an understanding of kitty body language and psychology. She is normally and indoor/outdoor cat, but for her safety she is kept indoors when the family is away. After 5 days indoors Lola has some pent-up energy and needs a good play session. But until today she has not been this close or interactive with me. Tomorrow’s visit will include playtime on her terms so we can burn off some of that cat energy.
