K9 Darta and her new handler are in their way to Arkansas today! She did great during turnover training and the 2 are a great match. I cant wait to see updates and videos of her doing the work she was born to do.

K9 Darta came across her first Cooperhead last night during a training exercise. While on the trail of our "suspect" she stopped which kept me from stepping on the snake (our training suspect ran right past it and didnt even know.) I was able to pull her away, checked her over, and then recast her on the trail, she picked up the scent and finished the search. She did an amazing job refocusing and getting back to the job at hand! Super proud of this beautiful girl! She leave us on Tuesday with her new handler.
