We have moved our shop location! Although there’s clearly still a lot of work to still be done on the outside. If you have an animal with us or if you decide to bring us one in the future, please know that we are at a new location! It’s only a few minutes drive from our previous spot & closer to the highway. 3087 High Pine Church Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205.

Can't believe it's already here! Battle of the Bucks is back this season and we've decided to add a youth division! The highest scoring deer we take in during the 2026 deer season (using B&C system) for both adult & youth categories will be free of charge! If you bring a buck and are under the age of 16, you will be considered a youth in this contest. Only deer taken legally from within North Carolina will be entered in the contest. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve everyone again this season. Good luck everyone!

It’s always a special sound when you’re in the shop and you hear the first acorns hit the roof. Can’t believe it’s here already. Looks like we’re going to have another decent acorn crop again this year here in Randolph, NC, but from what I’ve seen it won’t be quite what we’ve had year before last and last year. What are y’all seeing? Now is a great time to scout your heavy bearing oaks and see what they are doing. If they ain’t there yet, they will be shortly! It’s always cool to see what’s in the back of the throat of deer when they come in to see what they’re eating. I’d say over the last 2 years 70-80% of all 4.5+ year old bucks, from September through December have a mouth full of acorns when they were harvested. In my opinion, even if they stopped for a corn pile snack, they’d rather have an acorn any day.
