🐾 Today is International Day of Charity! 🐾

At Purrfect Pals, charity comes with whiskers, head bumps and the occasional 3:00 a.m. demand for breakfast.

Your generosity provides food, shelter, veterinary care and plenty of love for cats with medical or behavioral needs—including those who may have nowhere else to turn. Every gift, regardless of size, helps us give these deserving cats the safety and second chances they need.

The cats would donate themselves, but they claim to have no pockets and remain suspiciously vague about where all their toy mice came from.

🎤 COMING TO THE PURRFECT PALS COMEDY CLUB: TOBLERONE! 🎤

Meet Toblerone, a delightful 3-year-old cat and Purrfect Pals’ resident stand-up comic. He’s handsome, charming and always ready with a perfectly timed paws line.

A few favorites from his current routine:

🐻 What do you call a bear with no teeth?
A gummy bear!

🦀 Why don’t crabs share their food?
Because they’re shellfish!

🎨 What’s a cat’s favorite color?
Purr-ple!

🦆 Why did the duck get detention?
He was always quacking jokes in class!

🐕 What do you call a dog magician?
A Labracadabrador!

Toblerone will be appearing daily at our Arlington campus until some lucky audience member offers him a lifetime engagement in a loving home. The adoption fee is included—two-drink minimum not required.

Come meet this furry funnyman and see whether he’s your purrfect opening act, headliner and cuddle buddy!

Sometimes, a cat just knows.

Karla met one of our amazing Purrfect Pals cat care staff members, Marisa, while they were both at our Arlington shelter. From the very beginning, Karla was always so happy to see Marisa, and it quickly became clear that she had a special connection with her.

It seems Karla may have picked her own person!

We couldn’t be happier to share that Karla went home with Marisa! What a wonderful happy ending for this sweet girl.

Congratulations, Karla and Marisa! May your life together be filled with lots of love, cuddles, and happy memories.

🐾 Meet Bud Bud! 🐾

Bud Bud is a big guy with an even bigger heart. This sweet boy has all the love a cat could ever offer a human, and once he decides you’re his person, he’ll make sure you know just how special you are.

Bud Bud came to Purrfect Pals at the beginning of this year as an owner surrender. It took him a little time to come out of his shell, but once he did… he did not disappoint! He quickly showed us just how incredibly loving, affectionate, and gentle he can be.

Right now, Bud Bud is a medical boy and takes medication to help manage his anxiety. He’s taking his time, getting the care he needs, and showing us more of his wonderful personality every day.

Once Bud Bud is ready to find his forever home, we have a feeling he is going to steal the hearts of everyone he meets.

For now, we’re happy to watch this big, lovable boy continue to blossom. We can’t wait to see where his journey takes him!

🐾 Meet Rodger. 🐾

Rodger is a very sweet boy with a story that reminds us why places like Purrfect Pals are so important.

Rodger is only 2 years old, but he has already been through more than any cat should. He has been with us since November 2025 after being found living outside. Not much is known about his life before he came to us, but it is believed that he may have ingested a toxin at some point, which likely contributed to the kidney disease he now lives with.

Because of his renal disease, Rodger will most likely have a shorter lifespan. But that doesn't stop this wonderful boy from making the absolute most of every day. ❤️

Rodger is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than pets, attention, and finding a warm little sun puddle to curl up in. He is always on his very best behavior and has so much love to give.

Stories like Rodger's are exactly why Purrfect Pals is so important. Here, there is no deadline, no rush, and no stress. Rodger has a safe place to call home while he waits for his forever family. If adoption doesn't happen, he can spend his life here surrounded by love and care. He will always have a place.

But maybe you're looking for a younger kitty. Maybe you're someone who understands that a cat's history doesn't define the love they can bring into your life.

If you haven’t met Riri yet, you need to.

Looking for the ultimate cuddler and a best friend for life? Riri might be your girl.

Riri is very shy at first and will probably hide when you first meet her. But once she trusts you, she is an absolute sweetheart. When she’s comfortable, she will sit and get pets from you while drooling away. She doesn’t growl, hiss, or cause a fuss. She just wants to be loved.

Riri spent close to three years at Charm School, and all that time has paid off. She’s an amazing cat, once she gets to know you.

Meet and greets with Riri can be a little tricky because she may hide when new people come around. But we promise, she is worth the patience. Once she trusts you, you’ll see the loving, sweet cat we know and love.

After spending so much time here, Riri deserves a home of her own.
