Starting with our littlest point guard Van Gogh, our shooting guard Delilah, and our center Midnight Onyx, the team gathered courtside to make their official NBA Finals prediction. 🏀

After extensive scouting, heated debates, several snack breaks, and at least one technical foul for excessive zoomies, they finally reached a unanimous decision…

Happy tails… reptile tails, that is 🦎💚

After the whole neighborhood was out searching for Ghost, it turns out he wasn’t lost at all. He simply decided to stop by and visit us for a little adventure before heading back home to his very worried human. Typical Ghost behavior honestly.

We’re so happy this slippery little escape artist is safely reunited with his person.

Work hard, lounge harder. 😌🐾

A huge thank you to for spending their Impact Day here on June 5! More than 20 volunteers redistributed gravel, reinforced fencing, patched asphalt, built a shade structure, and added benches to our dog yards — and the pups are already enjoying every inch of it.

The team also prepped food for our mobile pet distribution program before the day was done. We're so grateful for the time, energy, and genuine care the Deloitte team brought to AWLA. This is what community looks like. 💙

Canela would like to make it VERY clear that she is absolutely not trying to guilt anyone into adopting her just because she’s wearing a cone.

This is not a manipulation tactic.

She is not sitting there looking extra pitiful in her Cone of Shame™ hoping someone will see this and immediately submit an adoption application.

That would be ridiculous.

She would never.

Buttttttt if, purely by coincidence, this post happens to work... she will have her bowl packed and be ready to leave tomorrow at noon.
