Petmate Pet Products Petmate is a global leader in pet supply products. What Makes Petmate Different? Our vision & mission. We are passionate about pets and their families. Our story.

Some of our most beloved brands include Chuckit!®, Arm & Hammer®, Barkbone®, Gamma2®, HyperPet®, JW Pet®, La-Z-Boy®, Mad Cat®, Petmate®, Vittles Vault® and Wild Eats®. It was 60 years ago that Petmate created the first dog kennel at our home office in Arlington, Texas. As a worldwide leader of solutions and excellence in the pet industry, we’re committed to providing fun, trusted, quality products to enhance the lives of pets and their families. It’s our passion for pets that drove us then and continues today. What started with kennels has grown to encompass a full line of products and solutions for the pet industry and, more importantly, pet families. Many of our products are made in that same factory that produced the world’s very first kennel. Petmate, an international company, continues to produce many of our products in the USA at our manufacturing facilities in Arlington, Texas. We source much of the plastic we use in our manufacturing from our Spectrum Plastics Facility, also based in Arlington. It is at this award-winning manufacturing operation that we produce nearly 80 million pounds of resin each year. We purchase post-industrial, pre-consumer, recyclable materials to reduce our carbon footprint. We also utilize eco-friendly manufacturing techniques to ensure that our pets and their families have a beautiful world to play in. We are proud that our manufacturing facility has been given the Edison Green Award, for being "a leader in globally recognizing, honoring and fostering innovation and innovators to create a positive impact in the world." At Petmate, we are committed to enhancing the lives of pets and their owners every day. Our core values. PASSION - We are enthusiastic about what we do and how we do it. ENGAGEMENT - we include people closest to the work in decision making and celebrate our wins. TEAMWORK & COLLABORATION - we speak directly to each other, build on ideas and treat each other as customers and business partners. STAND FOR ACCOUNTABILITY - we hold ourselves and each other accountable and we learn from our mistakes. We INNOVATE every day.

Your dog should be able to stand, turn around, sit, and lie down comfortably in their kennel. If any of those movements feel restricted, it's time to reassess the fit. 🐾

Start with your dog's measurements—not just the size label—and compare them with the usable interior space. A kennel that fits right supports their comfort at home and on the road. 💙

Use this dog kennel size guide to measure your pet, compare interior space, and choose a secure, comfortable fit for home routines, road trips, and air travel.
