Apparently back in Alabama there’s this little team called the Crimson Tide? Never heard of ’em.

I have been informed that in this house, we wear maroon & gold, snuggle Gopher blankets, and ROW THE BOAT.

Sorry, Alabama. You can keep your Tide.

Mom said, “We’re going to the cabin!” and apparently that meant EVERYBODY GET IN THE CAR.

Tonto was ready.
Tina was ready.
Kira was ready.
Maddie was ready.
Stella Jane was ready.
And foster brother Pop was like, “Umm… are we sure there’s enough room for all of us?”

Spoiler alert: there was not.

But somehow, Mom managed to fit the entire crew in for a cabin adventure!

Six dogs. One car. Zero personal space.
Maximum fun. 💕

We’re officially cabin dogs now, and we have VERY important sniffing, exploring, supervising, and probably trouble-making to do.

Tina here, I have been loving our weekends at the cabin splashing around with Mom, showing everyone that having three legs doesn’t slow a girl down one bit.

Meanwhile… my baby boy, Tonto, decided someone needed to guard the beach with Dad. According to him, waves are loud, rude, and completely unnecessary. He kept all four paws planted firmly in the sand while I handled the water activities. 😂

More lake days for me, less “terrifying wave encounters” for Tonto. We all have our priorities. 🩵🐾

🚨 Embark results are in! 🚨

🐾 Tina: 100% German Shepherd (she’s been strutting around like she already knew 💁‍♀️)

🐾 Tonto: 50.1% German Shepherd and 49.9% Great Pyrenees (which explains the fluffy coat, the goofy personality, and why he thinks he’s everyone’s bodyguard! 😂)

But the coolest surprise wasn’t our breeds…

We’re pretty sure Mom was more excited than we were… but don’t tell her we said that. 😉

Now… who guessed our results correctly? You officially earn serious bragging rights! 🐾💕

Mom got Tina’s Embark DNA results back… and she knows what Tina is! 🤭🐾

The only problem? She’s making us wait to tell everyone until Tonto’s results are back too. 🙄 Apparently she wants to do a double reveal.

Dad isn’t home tonight, but guess who got on the bed all by himself? This guy. No boost required.

Ignore Mom’s laundry mountain in the background. We’re choosing to believe it’s part of the room décor.

Right now, me, Tina, Maddie and Stella are busy soaking up all the bedtime snuggles with Mom. Kira is patiently waiting for Dad to get home, while Willow and Rocky have taken over security detail and are protecting the house until dad returns.

As for Pop? He’s in his crate because he’s still a puppy and apparently “bedtime rules” apply to him.

We’re warm, comfy, loved, and taking up approximately 97% of the bed. Good luck to dad when he comes home, he’ll have to snuggle close to mom!

Dad was home last night, which meant I got the royal treatment.

You see, Mom and Dad’s bed is WAY too tall for me to jump on by myself. Dad gave me a boost up! (Mom says I’m “too heavy” for her to lift. Rude. 🙄)

But once I made it up there? Best. Night. Ever.

I got to snuggle with Mom, Dad, Tina, Stella, Maddie, and Kira all piled together. Just look at that smile on my face! I was SO happy to be surrounded by my whole family. ❤️

Some dogs like fancy toys. Some dogs like treats. Me? Just give me a spot on the bed with my people and my pack, and I’m the happiest boy in the world. 🐾🥰

Mom got me a special harness to help me go up and down the stairs easier. 💖 Being a tripod queen has never stopped me, but having a little extra support sure is nice!

Since Dad is gone all weekend umpiring baseball, we decided it was the perfect time for a dog party in Mom and Dad’s bed. 🛏️🐾

I claimed all the pillows (obviously), while Tonto took his job very seriously and guarded the bedroom door from any suspicious activity.

By suspicious activity, we mean Mom trying to leave the room without us.

I think it’s safe to say we’ve settled into this spoiled-dog lifestyle pretty well. 👑🐾

Remember when everyone said we were bonded?

Yeah… they weren’t kidding.

Mom can’t even get a decent picture of one of us because we’re always attached at the hip. If one of us is napping, the other is usually touching at least one body part. It’s in the rules.

We’re settling into our new life pretty nicely: good food, comfy blankets, fur siblings, and plenty of opportunities to supervise Mom’s every move.

Life is good. ❤️🐾
