♥️🐾This baby officially needs a name! Drop your suggestions below.

This precious little dog we picked up today was so severely matted that we initially thought she was a male. Once all of that heavy, painful matting was removed, we discovered the sweetest little girl underneath.

I was told she weighed at least 20 pounds. After she was completely shaved down, she weighed just 9 pounds. It’s heartbreaking to think about how long she has been carrying around pounds of matted hair in this Texas heat.

You could tell how good it felt to finally have that weight lifted off her tiny body. But what nearly brought me to tears was when we put a blanket down, she immediately walked over and curled up on it. It was almost as if she remembered a time when she had been loved and had a soft blanket of her own. 💔

She is incredibly sweet, and my guess is she’s around 7–8 years old. We’ll be making her an appointment with Dr. Holbrook as soon as possible for a full evaluation, and I already know she is going to need a dental.

Good morning, everyone! We wanted to give you a quick update on Caramel and her 10 precious puppies.

It was quite the day yesterday. Our wonderful foster took Caramel and the puppies to our groomer, Tammy. What we thought would be a simple 1–2 hour appointment turned into four people working for hours to remove additional ticks from this sweet family.

I truly had no idea how severe the infestation was until I saw them with my own eyes. When I say it will make your skin crawl and leave you scratching your head, I mean it.

Mama Caramel is extremely thin. Her backbone, ribs, and hip bones are all protruding, and once the ticks were removed, numerous sores were revealed on her body. Her little body has been completely depleted from trying to nourish and care for 10 growing puppies. We are giving her lots of high-quality nutrition and plenty of rest so she can begin to heal.

The puppies were in rough shape as well. The number of ticks on these tiny babies was heartbreaking. Two of the puppies had extremely pale gums, tongues, and the roofs of their mouths, indicating they had likely lost a significant amount of blood. We immediately started supportive care and got nutrients into them, and thankfully, within a short period of time, their color began to improve.

Today I’ll be putting together Amazon and Chewy wish lists for Caramel and her puppies. If you’re able to help by sending supplies or making a monetary donation, we would be so grateful. Every gift, no matter the size, helps give this sweet family the care they deserve.

Most of all, we ask for your continued prayers. Please pray for healing, strength, and that Caramel and each of her 10 babies have a long, healthy, and happy life ahead of them.

♥️🐾 Freedom looks good on you, Hazel! 🐾♥️

After a little unexpected detour, including being mistakenly released to another rescue before we arrived, it has been quite a challenging day, to say the least. But this precious 3-month-old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier puppy is officially out of the Fort Worth shelter and on her way to a bright new future!

A huge shout-out to Tammy Craddock with Wooftown Pet Spa for stepping in to transport Hazel and get this sweet girl cleaned up and feeling her very best. We are so grateful for your help and support!

The cruelty humans are capable of will never stop breaking our hearts… 💔

Please help us welcome little Timmy to Texas All Creatures Rescue. 🐾♥️

This tiny boy was found terrified, running through a parking lot after a witness reportedly saw him put out of a car and kicked away as the vehicle drove off. Thankfully, a wonderful Good Samaritan stopped to help him, and now Timmy is safe.

His little body tells a heartbreaking story. Timmy’s coat was severely matted and soaked with urine stains. The matting was so tight against his skin that he had to be completely shaved down, leaving behind small sores where the hair had painfully twisted against his body. His hip bones are visibly protruding, and it is clear this little guy has not been properly cared for in quite some time.

A huge thank you to Tammy at Wooftown Pet Spa for stepping in so quickly to help this precious boy feel comfortable again. 🐾♥️

We are also concerned about Timmy’s mouth and the way he walks, and our veterinarian is currently reviewing videos to determine next steps.

Even after everything he has endured, Timmy has been incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving.

Sherman (Poodle) and Dexter (Cairn Terrier) look and feel so much better. They come off stray hold tomorrow, and these sweet boys will be fully vetted and ready for adoption soon.
