After years of developing my small flock of registered Katahdins, I feel like my ram lambs are definitely worthy of becoming breeding rams. Because I don’t keep many I have been extremely picky about what ewes I keep and what ram to use. My new ram, Arden, is a monster of a ram and have been thrilled with this lamb crop. So if you like large frame thick Kats, who are fat on grass, and shed out clean, then reserve one now. Only a handful to pick from! Everyone was a twin and solid birth weights.

This one is out of “Bull Thistle” and off “Arden”, born mid April.
Bull Thistle is a beef cake of a ewe with good feet and easy nature. I call her lamb “Mack Truck” 😂
