Welcome to October in North Texas, where the calendar says FALL, the stores say CHRISTMAS, and the thermostat says SUMMER ISN'T OVER, Y'ALL! ☀️🤣

We've got pumpkins on the porch, Christmas trees in the stores, and people drinking pumpkin spice lattes in shorts and flip-flops.

But here at Green Oaks North Pet Hospital, we're skipping the seasonal identity crisis and heading straight for the HOLIDAY MAGIC! 🎄🐾

🎅📸 PHOTOS WITH SANTA ARE BACK!

Our very own REAL SANTA DARRELL is dusting off his red suit, checking his naughty and nice list (we're looking at you, Labrador owners 👀), and getting ready for a day of holiday fun!

🐾💙 REMODEL UPDATE: LOOK WHO’S GETTING FANCY! 💙🐾

Things are really coming together at Green Oaks North Pet Hospital! 🎉

Our new reception area is taking shape, our new exam rooms are looking fantastic, and we’re getting closer to having everything ready for our favorite patients (and their humans, too)! 🐶🐱

We’re loving all the changes and can’t wait for you to see the finished product!

Thank you for being patient with us through the construction chaos. We promise it’s been worth the dust! 😂🔨

Same familiar faces. Same great care. Just a little more room to love your pets! 💙🐾

🎉 Dr. Ford is officially here! 🎉
Please help us welcome Dr. Courtney Ford, DVM, to the Green Oaks North Pet Hospital family! 🩷🐾
Over the next couple of weeks, Dr. Ford will be getting to know our team, learning our clinic, and settling into our protocols and routines. We’re so excited to have her here and can’t wait for her to start meeting more of you and your furry family members!
Welcome to Green Oaks, Dr. Ford! We’re so happy you’re here! 💕

🐾 A new doctor is joining the Green Oaks North family! 🐾
Please help us welcome Dr. Courtney Ford-Franklin, who joins Green Oaks North Pet Hospital on October 5th! 🩷
A Louisiana native and proud LSU graduate, Dr. Ford-Franklin earned both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees at LSU. She loves solving problems, building relationships, and helping pet parents feel informed and confident about their pets’ care. She absolutely agrees that patient kisses and hugs are a pretty great job perk, too! 🐶🐱
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ford-Franklin enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Chase and Margarita. 🐾 She also loves working out, watching horror movies, getting lost in a good mystery novel, and drinking “entirely unreasonable amounts of coffee.” 😂☕
We’re excited for you to meet her—and for her to meet your furry family members! Leave a little welcome below! 💬🐾

🔨🐾 REMODEL UPDATE! 🐾🔨

Okayyyy… now we’re getting somewhere! 👀😍

We have floors, walls, a front desk again, and our two new exam rooms are really starting to come together! 🙌🐶🐱

There are still plenty of finishing touches to go, but it’s so exciting to finally see everything taking shape! 💙

Thank you to our amazing clients (and our determined staff) for continuing to roll with the dust, detours, and construction craziness!

We’re getting closer… and we can’t wait to show you the finished product! 🔨🐾💙

🐾 SEPTEMBER EMPLOYEE PET OF THE MONTH 🐾

Everybody meet BEAR! 🐻💙

Bear belongs to Dr. Hulka, and while he may be a big ol’ boy, please do not let the size fool you. This is, in fact, just a baby. 😂

His hobbies include ☀️ professional sunbathing, ❤️ collecting ALL available attention, 🐾 staying close to his people, and 🥺 looking absolutely pitiful if the petting stops for any reason.

Basically, Bear’s life philosophy is simple:
Why be independent when someone could be loving on you instead? 🤣

Big. Goofy. Gentle. Ridiculously lovable.

Help us give some love to our September Employee Pet of the Month, BEAR! 🐻🐾💙

“Ummm… excuse me? What are y’all doing back there?
Do you need me?
Did somebody say snacks?
I can come back there if that would be easier.” 🤣🐾

Meanwhile, in our treatment area our technicians are trying not to get distracted by this handsome face (💯 % impossible) while Casanova conducts a full-scale investigation from the exam room.

No clue what’s happening, just VERY happy to be included. 😂💙

🔨🐾 WEEK ONE REMODEL UPDATE! 🐾🔨

Well… we survived Week One. 😂

Our floors are gone, our front desk has been reduced to a table, there are wires where walls used to be, and for a minute there we were questioning some life choices… BUT LOOK!! 👀

Our TWO new exam rooms are taking shape! 🎉🐶🐱

We cannot believe how much has happened in just one week, and we’re getting so excited to see our vision come together!

Most importantly, THANK YOU to our amazing clients for rolling with the dust, detours, temporary check-in setup, and general construction craziness. 💙 You guys have been wonderful!

We promise there’s a method to the madness. 😉
Week One down… stay tuned! 🔨🐾
