For years I got comfortable staying where I knew I didn't belong. I tried to wish and will my situations to change, holding onto my dream of having a farm to call my own and have my horses at home with me.

It wasn't until I let go that it happened. I had thrown in the towel of my dream and decided to just set it aside. And as soon as my grip loosened, everything came together. Better than I ever could have imagined.

Have your dreams and goals, but be able to let go and go with the flow. Everything will work out for you. And if it doesn't work out the way you want, there's a lesson in there.

We get so fixated on how we have to have things, that we can't even see the better path laid out right before us.

And at the end of the day, we are all but stardust standing on a giant spinning ball in the middle of the universe. 🌟

Loving this fall weather in Minnesota. The farmers just cut the fields, making them perfect for riding through. I got to sneak in a quick ride on my girl yesterday.

🐴 New training openings at Soulstice Stables

As two of my current training horses get ready to head out at the end of the month, I'll have room to welcome a couple of new horses into my training program.

My approach to training is rooted in communication, understanding, and building a partnership with each horse. Whether we're laying the foundation with a young horse, starting under saddle, working through a challenge, or refining existing skills, I believe in meeting each horse where they are and giving them the time they need to learn.

Training includes five days of work per week, with groundwork and riding incorporated as appropriate for the individual horse. Owners receive video updates and are encouraged to be part of their horse's progress.

🌿 On-site training is available at Soulstice Stables in Arlington, MN, for $1,000 per month. The length of training depends on the horse's individual needs and goals.

I also offer training at your own farm for those who would prefer to work with their horses at home.

It was a beautiful albeit windy morning for a lesson. The girls had an equitation course to walk, then trot their horses through while being timed. Then, they got to swap horses and try again! (I even hopped on one and tried my hand at it).

Great job Isla from Ireland on S**t and Sammy from Switzerland on Gabe! 😉 😜

Arthur came out and trimmed some of the horses yesterday. I think it is so amazing to look at the different sizes of hooves.

Flora is standing inside the cutting of Raven's hoof trimming! Crazy!
