🚨Utah Fosters! We need you!🚨
Over the last few months, we’ve been barely able to catch up with Shelter Transfer requests in Utah. Why?

Currently every consistent foster that we have is already otherwise engaged. We know that when the next call comes from any of our Municipal Shelters to pull a cat - we’ll have nowhere for them to go.
Fostering truly saves lives - and we need you.
But don’t just listen to us - listen to the cats we’ve helped this year thanks to having a foster ready and able.
ENOLA was taken to the Hurricane UT shelter because her family said “she didn’t fit in.” Rarely do we see a cat so incredibly heartbroken and shut down. After 6 months of loving care from her foster family - she learned to trust again and we found her the most perfect home.
LEO was found as a stray and taken to Davis County Animal Services in Fruit Heights, UT. They contacted us immediately saying he was angry, reactive, and hated EVERYONE in the building. We got him right to a loving foster home who had actually never had a Bengal before! The moment he crossed their threshold, he turned into a love machine! He found his forever home a few weeks ago and his new family is over the moon. A little understanding goes a LONG way.
DOMINIC was taken to the Humane Society of Utah (Murray) just before Christmas in 2025. We have no idea why! The shelter told us that Dominic was absolutely terrified and suffering from great distress - both emotionally, and physically. His GastroIntestinal (GI) tract was a mess. And this we can confirm. After more than 6 months of battling his GI disorder, we’re finally making progress and things have improved greatly. Without his skillful and PATIENT foster - he’d still be suffering.
XENA (Savannah) was seized by West Jordan Animal Control. Separated from her bonded sister, she arrived in foster 100% traumatized, broken-down, and frightened. It took weeks for her patient and experienced foster to even be able to touch her! She’s been in foster for two months, and we’re happy to share that she’s finally ready for her forever family.
What does it take to be a foster?
-Patience - some cats need six months while others need a month.
-An available room to decompress in order to adjust to so many stressors and life changes.
-Cat experience - Bengal experience is always helpful.
-Behavioral and Medical experience is a HUGE plus.
-Willingness to communicate with us so that we can help you in whatever ways you need us to.
-Bengal Rescue covers all of the Medical bills - we appreciate your help with food and litter.
-Agreement to participate in reviewing potential adoption applications.
