Been busy- last Thursday thru Saturday noon garage sale, didn't do too bad. Sunday and today canning pickles, 3.5 gallon bags of corn on cob and my second batch of salsa. Tomorrow baking Zuchinni brownies with chocolate peanut butter frosting and Zuchinni lemon poppyseed bread.
Figured I should reap the rewards of my hard garden work before I have to leave the remainder to the new owners.

The last year I've been trying to convince myself to slow down and not work so hard and try to enjoy life. I kept telling myself "I'm not a quitter"! But I believe I have done a pretty good job keeping it up and my late brother Jr., whom is the reason I bought the property from would agree with my decision. 10.3 acres is a lot for one person, even though I only maintain about half of that, the rest is wooded area and a couple acres of farmland.
So I finally took a step forward and put my property on the market today. I will post the link as soon as it is put out on the websites.
Where will I go if the property sells? Back to my roots to be around my family whom I can be closer when they need my help. Would love to find a home with a half acre to where I can still putz around and have my ladies 🐔!

The birddog strikes again! Eventually all 9 showed up one at a time except for 2 of the teenagers came together. Two of the RIR has tail and butt feathers missing but no open wounds.
