So special to me! Rikki Raccoon was Reserve Open terrier to Colleen’s bitch Odair. (Sp) I couldn’t be more thrilled with Rikki and Leighton for allowing me to co-own her. The frosting on the cake today was that Solo was Reserve open dog; so I had two dogs in the ring for Best Open Terrier! Humbled as well as thrilled.

Full circle moment. The picture on the left is River Bottom Shady Lady shortly after we brought her home from River Bottom Terriers. Pictured on the right is her great-granddaughter, Black Brush (yet to be named) Rikki Racoon. I can remember when we would imagine what it would be like having generations of Jacks in our kennel.

What’s even better, this litter is PLL, DM, SCA, and NNA CLEAR BY DESCENT!!

Black Brush Rikki Raccoon won the 6-9 month Bitch Puppy Class and went on to be Reserve Bitch Puppy at the 2024 JRTCA National Trial. Rikki is Conquest Styx x Black Brush Summer. She is 5 generations down from Bizmark ( Biz > Shea > Bruiser > Summer > Rikki).

This happened 7 weeks ago at River Bottom Terriers. First litter in 2.5 years here. 2 males, 1 female. Two will be available; not sure which ones until evaluations are done. Excellent pedigree.
