STAFF POSITION OPEN!
HIRING FOR IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT!

JOB DESCRIPTION: All elements required to clean, sanitize all areas where dogs are kept and feeding and care of 50 to 75 dogs and other task when assigned.

Requirements:
-Must be 18 years of age or older.
-Must be available any day of the week.
-Must be able to report to work at 8 am.
-Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
-Must be in good physical health and able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. frequently.
-Must be able to learn and complete daily task without constant supervision once trained. Prior experience with confined dogs preferred.

Hours: 25 to 30 per week! Starting pay rate is $12 per hour.
Personal and/or work references required.
Apply in person at the shelter Noon to Four - Tuesday thru Friday.

Jesse’s Educational Adventure
Austin made it a great day for Jessie when she and her fellow OBU students gave him a lesson in how wonderful life can be.
Austin reported that Jessie was instant friends with everyone he met on campus!
He was a perfect gentleman and got lots of hugs and rubs! Thank you Austin!
It is great to have the students back!

RIVER HAS A HOME! . . after spending 12 months of the 14 months since he was born with us at the Humane Society of Clark County. River’s new owner, Mike, is new to our community and his visit yesterday was his first time at HSCC! We are so happy for River and thankful that Mike has made a place for River to live a good life!

GOOD NEWS UPDATE
ALL THREE PUPPIES ARE IN GOOD HANDS! A good Samaritan and Sheriff Watson are stepping up to help these three puppies that were dumped on Old Military Road today. They urgently need to find an adopter or at least a temporary foster family. They have had some basic preventative medical care.
Arkadelphia Animal Control is holding the for the sheriff for a short period of time. The Humane Society of Clark County will assist a foster or adopter with food, spay or neuter and any other way we can but we just do not have space here for them.
Please contact the Sheriff or HSCC if you can help. Sheriff Watson was especially concerned about the brown puppy being very withdrawn, frightened and likely in shock.
If you have any information about who these dogs belong to or who dumped them, or any animals, the sheriff would like to speak to you!
