Massage spotlight: hot stones

Hot stones help relax muscles and soft tissues. Adding them to a massage can help alleviate pain, improve circulation, reduce stress, and bring an overall sense of calmness.

Let me know if you'd like to add them to your next massage!

I was lucky enough to experience a month of training at Esalen in Big Sur, CA, where I received a 100 hour certification in Esalen Massage. An Esalen Massage is an inward journey rather than a therapeutic treatment. Through long strokes, a slow pace, and pauses, you are invited to return to your natural state of balance and alignment. Mixing in deep tissue and other modalities creates what I feel is the perfect massage.
