My best friend, Dixie, crossed the Rainbow Bridge last Sunday. She met an unfortunate end after having run out of the house when she shouldn't have. The whole family was heartbroken. We've mourned and will be forever changed because of her.

When she first arrived I was skeptical. Within days she became my best friend and play partner. Through her I found a friend who shared my language, who taught me a how to be a dog every once in a while rather than the youngest, and most favorite, child in my family. 💕💕🐶
