When Big Jake first came to me, he was scared of EVERYTHING.

You could barely pet him without him getting nervous. Saddling was a huge challenge, and trying to put a saddle on him would send him into a panic.

Fast forward to now…

You can saddle Big Jake.
You can throw a whip around him.
You can handle him calmly.
And most importantly, you can get on and ride him without him running off.

This is why I believe in taking the time to build a horse’s confidence instead of simply pushing them through their fear.

Big Jake still has plenty of learning ahead of him, but look at the difference.

Progress takes time, patience, consistency, and trust.

This is what I love about training horses watching them go from scared and unsure to confident and willing.

I am currently accepting a limited number of outside horses for training and riding. I work with horses at various stages of development and tailor each program to meet the individual needs and goals of the horse and owner.
