It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our co-owner, compassionate veterinary assistant, and beloved friend, Dillon Roser.
Dillon brought so much humor, warmth, kindness, and light to Paws & Claws Affordable Veterinary Clinic every single day. He poured his heart into caring for the animals and families in our community, and his loss leaves a void that will be deeply felt by everyone on our team.
We extend our deepest condolences, thoughts, and love to Dillon's family and everyone who loved him during this incredibly difficult time.

PLEASE HELP!!!
Early this morning, a Thomasville police officer responded to a distress call from a concerned citizen that reported seeing a bag being thrown out of a moving vehicle on a busy road. The caller couldn’t be certain, but thought it looked like a bag filled with kittens! Upon arrival, the officer was horrified to discover that the bag, which was completely tied closed, did contain a litter of small kittens. Sadly, only one tiny male survived the impact. This compassionate officer immediately drove the kitten to us this morning for treatment. He named the surviving kitten, Road Rash. This miracle kitten is going to be okay despite being bloodied and bruised. He is being treated for his wounds and a severe upper respiratory infection. Please call Paws & Claws Affordable Veterinary Clinic if you can donate to help Road Rash at 336-434-7729. Any money donated above the veterinary bill for Road Rash will go towards other abandoned and homeless pets in our care. We are a nonprofit veterinary hospital dedicated to helping animals in our community.
We are truly brokenhearted about the cruelty of this horrendous act and the death of the other kittens, but we are thankful that Road Rash is going to be okay and adopted by the responding officer!
