Why are people breeding dogs if it’s not to better the breed? People are breeding dogs that they don’t even know the colors of nor know what potential heritable conditions the puppies could have. Without fully testing parents to OFA standards. If you aren’t going to better the next generation, please don’t breed. There are so many dogs that need homes out there.
Also- you don’t have to want a show dog to get a puppy from health tested and titled parents. Honestly, not all puppies make show dogs. But getting your companion or pet dog from a breeder who titles and health tests gives you knowledge that you are getting a healthy puppy that will have a solid foundation.
