I’m VERY tentatively and very quietly putting feelers out there for a home for Marley. I’m not even making this public yet. This is a tough one and I’d be very picky about where she ends up. I’d honestly love for one of my wonderful clients (as everyone’s dogs love Marley) to adopt her but we will see! Her owner recently passed away. I’ve had her for a bit now to prevent her from ending up at a shelter but it was never the idea to keep her. “Mar” (1 syllable for the 1 brain cell she has lol) is 4 years old. She is ACTIVE. She’s a big lengthy d***y purebred Labrador (no papers she came from an oops/byb I believe). She is spayed and up to date on everything. She is crate and potty trained perfectly and is off leash trained. She is good with dogs cats and kids (tortoises too). She would love another playful dog in the home as she plays with everyone she meets. There are a few other things worth mentioning (nothing bad) but I’ll stop here for now. Marley is a great family dog and the epitome of a Labrador.

We’re in Canfield for the Steel Valley Cluster show! We competed in Dock diving with Tempest and saw some good friends run in fast CAT and show in conformation. They have everything at this event and it’s one of our favorites. But just look at this Labrador in the background of the video. So happy so excited to be there. The only one wagging and partying (her name is Party too lol) 🤣😘🎉

How it started vs how it ended! 🤣
This guy stayed with me for a couple of weeks for my service dog training! We worked on his public training and started to teach him to retrieve objects for his dad who is in a wheelchair at times. He’s a lab and is a bringer of toys but the joke was on me in the beginning. We worked with stuff he already liked to carry. I played around with shaping the behavior of him interacting with the object with the end result to be to bring it to hand. In the beginning, he liked to throw things at me, drop them on my foot, pretend to touch them and offer minimal effort with the hope of a maximum prize. It was a rough couple days. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ With time and patience and those Labrador genes playing in our favor (and a trusty clicker of course) he got it and finally brought things to my hand/lap! I’m so excited and proud of this young guy! He’s still doing well at home and his family practices with him with new weird different objects.
(Don’t look at my floors- I had a ton of yellow dogs at my house and the hair shows up like crazy. I vacuum daily!)

Why shouldn’t your dog have fun too while you’re away?
If they’re not running and playing outside, they’re running and playing in my house or lounging on the couch. 😂🥰
We still have space available for “camp” (boarding) in February and March!
