Our bingo night was a huge success!! I know I said it there... but thank you to EVERYONE who came out, played and supported our rescue. The thing that is amazing to see in a small town is everyone coming together to have fun and support a good cause. 🥹
We had so many local businesses donating prizes, and a special shoutout to Seidr Brewing for allowing us to use their patio & slinging out the beers! We think y'all made them work up a sweat! Also, lots of thanks to the Cookhouse for serving up delicious food. 😋 Velma enjoyed ALL the pets & remember, she is up for adoption too! 🖤

➡️ We're thinking about making this a routine event. What do y'all think? We'll be doing it in Arab and possibly other surrounding areas (Guntersville/Albertville/Cullman) if there's enough interest & we have venues offer to host us!

‼️ foster needed ‼️

We need a foster home for a female Great Dane. Her name is Diamond. She is 3 years old. She is not crate trained or house trained, so we will need someone who is willing to work through that. She is dog friendly, is nervous around kids and has not been near cats.

All vetting/food/and other needs are covered by the rescue. Foster must live in North Alabama and have a fenced in yard. All other dogs in the home must be fixed.

🗽🎆🎇 TAKE ACTION NOW. It is the 250th year. You know what that means... everything will be bigger and louder. More fireworks, more firecrackers, more people out and about. It is NOT safe for your dogs to be out next weekend. Huge, loud bangs... they will get nervous. Even the best-behaved dogs can get spooked. On dark roads & intoxicated drivers, it doesn't end well for our furry friends. 😔

📱 Call your vet TODAY & get anxiety medication if needed. Do not bombard them the end of next week.
💉 Make sure your pet is chipped & the registration is ACTIVE. Log on to the website and verify information is there & updated.
🐾 Keep a collar on your animals with your information.
🏠 Do not leave animals unattended outside. Take extra precautions if you do not have a fence, and keep them on a leash.

We always see an uptick is lost/deceased animals after the 4th of July. Let's try to keep our animals home this year and celebrate safely! 🗽🎆🎇

🏡🏡 We are looking for Jasper's forever home 🏡🏡

It's been over a year and Jasper still doesn't have a family 😔 What more can we do to promote this sweet guy?

Jasper is around 25 lbs and he is an 8-9 year old Shih Tzu and Beagle mix. He needs to live in a home with no young kids, no cats, and preferably no other dogs.

He would be the perfect dog for someone who stays home a lot and is looking for a companion. Jasper is strong and has lots of energy for his age. We are looking for a home that has a fenced in yard to let him have an outlet for his energy. He is crate trained and potty trained.

We love hearing about pups adopted from us!! It helps us get through the "ruff" moments of rescue work. We got a pupdate this week on Josie! She is thriving and loves her new boating lifestyle 😎
