I hope everyone enjoys the Holiday weekend!
A few updates for the shop. Long post but PLEASE READ ❤️
First off we love all our clients and we totally understand things happen and people are busy. But I just want to remind everyone to try and avoid this as much as possible! A few things to keep in mind going forward and throughout 2026❤️
🎉Please make sure you are going off the date sent to you through the booking system. The correct date AND time. (A lot of times people accidentally put the wrong date and time in your personal calendar and go off of that, and then don’t realize when you confirm your appt) We go off what is in our booking system, it throws off our whole day or causes a no show which affects our pay.
🎉No shows/Last minute cancellations require 50% of the appt before we can rebook the next appt, this is policy. If you come 15/30 min late and we still accept the dog, the appt time starts at the time you’re supposed to be here, not when you arrived, so there may be an extra fee. This has always been policy.
🎉Dogs need to be picked up within a reasonable amount of time unless previously discussed
🎉If you don’t want your appointment please cancel ASAP. We have had an influx of no shows, people forgetting about their appts, etc. I try to be lenient but this can’t happen so consistently- a lot of this is from current clients who I’ve been grooming for years as well. So we definitely need to work on this. We have other people desperately trying to get in- so we could have booked another appt and gotten paid if we had known.
🎉Do NOT be rude to my employees- you’ll be fired as a client. I understand there are new people grooming and some clients are attached to me. There is still no reason to be rude or disrespectful. They are apart of my team who I trust 100% and it won’t be tolerated.
To sum it up, Look at the appt reminders and verify you have the correct date and time, if you can’t make it cancel the appt, and treat EVERYONE in the shop with respect. ❤️
I appreciate everyone and look forward to another year with you and your pups who I care about so much! ❤️
