RESCUED 🥳

Sumo #260705 is the only dog from the most recent euthanasia list at Apple Valley Animal Shelter who is still alive, and he needs help NOW!!! Sumo is a sweet guy who is being completely overlooked because he is black and has been exhibiting some barrier reactivity in the shelter setting. As you can see from this video though, it doesn’t take him long to calm down and seek attention from our videographer and from his favorite kennel attendant. Sumo is already neutered and ready to go home with his forever family. AVAS has told rescues that he is deadlined for 9 a.m. tomorrow - Friday 10/23!!!! Please help Sumo. We cannot let him be killed.

He can be pet and walks on the leash. He has a very deep bark, we think he does this for attention but he has shown some barrier aggression with his bark as well. He would be good at protecting a home with his loud bark.
