🐾💜 SKIN & COAT THERAPY: A LITTLE EDUCATION, A LOT OF CARE 💜🐾

This sweet boy came to us with areas of hair loss and noticeable skin darkening after previously receiving repeated shave-downs. His mama wasn't aware that shaving a double-coated breed can sometimes interfere with normal coat regrowth. 🐶

When we looked at his coat, we knew this was a time to focus on gentle care—not simply another haircut.

✨ His Skin Therapy SpaDay included:

🌿 Tar & sulfur shampoo — selected as part of his skin-care routine to help cleanse the coat, balance PH exfoliate and promote hair growth.

✂️ A light, even trim — rather than taking him short again, we tidied his coat while preserving the length he has.

💜 A gentler approach moving forward — supporting his coat as it grows and helping his family understand the importance of appropriate grooming for his coat type.

Here's something every pet parent with a double-coated dog should know: shaving doesn't automatically cause permanent damage, but coat regrowth can be unpredictable in some dogs.

Our goal isn't just to make a dog look good when they leave our salon. It's to educate, advocate, and help families make informed decisions about their pets' skin and coat health.

Every coat deserves an individualized approach. Every pup deserves patience. And every pet parent deserves to understand the care their baby needs. 💜🙏
