Some dogs are just extra special, and Bobert was one of them. ❤️

With his unforgettable face, ridiculous good looks, and personality to match, Bobert was truly one of a kind. In a setting where every dog has their own quirks and challenges, Bobert was a unicorn. He was just a dream to care for, always showing up with his signature butt wiggles, happy little tail nub wags, and the sweetest version of himself.

We had the absolute privilege of caring for Bobert for nearly all of his almost 10 years, which means we got to watch that adorable mug become a familiar and much-loved face around DDG. In fact, you might recognize him from our website, where his handsome face has earned a permanent place.

Bobert was one of those dogs who made loving what we do that much easier. He was a joy to know, a pleasure to care for, and a very special part of our DDG family. We will miss him more than words can say.

To Bobert's mom, Christine, we are sending you our biggest hugs and our warmest condolences. Thank you for sharing your wonderful boy with us for so many years. We know how deeply loved he was, and we hope it brings you some comfort knowing just how much he was loved here, too.

Run free, sweet Bobert. You were a pretty special kind of unicorn. ❤️🐾
