🎩✨ TADA! The MAGIC is BACK! ✨🎩
Barb Davis Agility Seminar - December 5–6, 2026 - Registration opens October 1!
Abracadabra… BARB DAVIS IS RETURNING TO DOG-ON-IT!
Get ready for a weekend where great handling, thoughtful training, and teamwork come together to create a little agility magic! 🪄✨
Barb’s coaching is anything but smoke and mirrors. She takes the time to truly get to know you and your dog as a team—how you communicate, how you respond to each other, and how you work together. Her carefully planned and personalized lessons help teams uncover those “AHA!” moments, refine their skills, tackle challenges, and become even better partners on the course.
🎩 PULL A FEW NEW SKILLS OUT OF THE HAT:
🪄 Saturday, 12/5: Recommended for dogs competing at or above Open/Advanced levels
🪄 Sunday, 12/6: Geared toward Master-level dogs
🪄 TWO full day seminars — no half-day spots
🪄 One spot may be used with two dogs, but Barb strongly recommends focusing on one dog so she can truly tailor the experience to that individual team.
Have two dogs? You can work one dog Saturday and the other Sunday—or take the magic you learn with one teammate and make some magic happen with your other dog at home!
🎩✨ AND NOW FOR OUR NEXT TRICK… ✨🎩
There MAY be an opportunity to add a Friday, December 4 seminar (no promises)! If there is enough interest, Barb may be able to make it happen. Let us know if you’re interested so we can gauge demand.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 5th Morning - BUILDING YOUR REAR CROSS SKILLS
With today’s courses offering more space between obstacles, even the fastest handlers are relying on
rear crosses more often. In this session, you’ll learn how to train your dog to drive ahead of you, when and where to signal, and how to set up a successful rear cross. Barb will cover techniques that build your dog’s confidence as you cross behind, explain why bars may drop or dogs land incorrectly, and show how your path angle influences your dog’s response. You’ll also explore the differences between cueing a soft rear cross and a tight rear cross.
Afternoon - BUILDING YOUR BLIND CROSS SKILLS
Barb was an early adopter of blind crosses in her agility career and later shared her expertise in the
DVD Adding Blind Crosses to Your Handling System. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to avoid common pitfalls, refine your timing, and set effective lines. Barb will also cover precueing strategies, collision prevention, and how blind crosses can serve as efficient, legsaving alternatives to front crosses—all while keeping your dog motivated and engaged.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 6TH - Morning - OUTSIDE TURNS & MORE (MASTER LEVEL) This advanced workshop addresses handling strategies required when the handler is positioned on the outside of the dog’s curve. Instruction will emphasize the mechanics and timing of Tandem Turns, Flicks, and Lap Turns, with applications tailored to Premier and International-style course design. These techniques provide critical solutions for handlers unable to reach key positions in time and serve as efficient alternatives for those with
less running speed. Training sequences will incorporate international-style challenges to reinforce
skill development and application
Afternoon - ADVANCE BACKSIDE MOVES PLUS COURSEWORK (MASTER LEVEL+) This workshop
begins with hands-on training in advanced backside techniques, movements like “The Flick, Snake and
Threadles.” Teams will receive step-by-step guidance and personalized help while working on short
sequences to build precision and fluency. For experienced teams, the emphasis will shift to refining
cues to enhance the dog’s ability to read and respond with accuracy. The session concludes with
coursework designed to apply these advanced skills in practical scenarios, incorporating varied
handling challenges for a comprehensive learning experience.
Full day workshops are $250 Auditing $25
