Stubby came to us for a dental cleaning today and we had suspected some needed extractions! We ended up removing 10+ teeth! Routine dental cleanings and implementing VOHC approved products into your pet’s daily routine can help with their dental health 🐶

Here’s a look at a typical appointment here at Azalea Veterinary Clinic. Lots of love, praise, and above all - singing. We love to sing to your pets and we will always try our best to make them feel as comfortable as possible.

If you’re not familiar with our open concept, here’s a great example of what it can look like. Finley came in to see us today for an unresolved eye issue with his mom and brother! We needed to do an exam, an eye stain to test for a corneal ulcer, and an ear swab to test for an ear infection. He’s a bit of a nervous boy, but he was able to feel more comfy having his family hold him while we did all the scary things. He never left their side and was able to know that his humans were there to keep him safe ❤️

If our open concept sounds like a system that you or your pet would benefit from, give us a call and get scheduled with us at Azalea Veterinary Clinic!

Have you ever noticed your cat straining to urinate? It can be a sign of a very scary medical condition called a urinary blockage! If you notice your cat straining to urinate and/or not urinating at all, don’t hesitate to contact your primary care veterinarian or an ER. This sweet kitten Mao came in with a urinary obstruction this morning. We promptly got him feeling better with some pain medication, and then proceeded to unblock him before sending him to the ER for overnight monitoring!

If you ever have concerns about your pet’s urinary health, give us a call at Azalea - we’re more than happy to help!
