What a day for Grace Lee Farm IEA! 💚🏆

Our first time hosting an IEA show was a huge success, and our riders brought home High School Team Champion AND Middle School Team Champion! We are so proud of their hard work, progress, and teamwork!

A huge thank-you to all the parents who helped today and over the past few weeks. From preparing to setting up, keeping things running, and cleaning up—you helped make this day possible, and we appreciate you more than you know!

Thank you to the teams who joined us and to our wonderful horses. So much work went into today, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together! 🐴💚

And a big thank you to M&M Tack Shop for our awards!! IEA - Interscholastic Equestrian Association

🏆💚 What an incredible year for Grace Lee Farm—and what a weekend at NCHJA C Finals!

I couldn’t be happier with how our students are progressing! Watching their confidence grow, their skills develop and their hard work come together in the show ring has made this year incredibly rewarding.

We have so much to celebrate from Finals! 🌟

🐴 Mary & Bougie Bruce
🥈 2nd overall in the .70/.80m Junior/Amateur Jumper Finals!
They also earned 1st, 3rd and 6th in the individual rounds.

🐴 Hazel & Bentley
🥇 1st overall in the Small/Medium Pony Hunter Finals!
They won both the classic and handy rounds—a wonderful accomplishment in an already memorable year!

🐴 Ariana & Bentley
🏅 4th in the Short Stirrup Medal Final Top Ten!
They also earned 3rd under saddle, 7th in the classic round and 9th overall in the Short Stirrup Hunter Finals.

🐴 Sloane & Willie Nelson
🏅 6th in the Short Stirrup Medal Final Top Ten!
A wonderful milestone to celebrate together!

🐴 Andie & Willie Nelson
🥈 2nd overall in the Small/Medium Pony Hunter Finals!
They also finished 2nd in both the classic and handy rounds and 3rd under saddle.

🐴 Andie & Coco Loco
🥇 1st in Sunday’s .70/.80m Junior/Amateur Jumper Finals round!
They also earned 7th in Saturday’s second round and finished 7th overall.

Behind these results are months of lessons, practice, dedication and learning. As their trainer, I get to see the work that goes into each milestone, and watching these riders put that work into practice makes me so proud.

The ribbons give us plenty to celebrate, and so does the progress each student has made along the way. Every rider has their own journey, and I couldn’t be happier watching this group grow and reach new goals.

Thank you to our families for your continued support and to our wonderful horses and ponies for everything they give us. Congratulations, Mary, Hazel, Ariana, Sloane and Andie—you have so much to be proud of! 💚🐴

🌟 TWO Pony Finals qualifications in just six months! 🌟

In February, Hazel and Bentley qualified for Pony Finals 2026. At the beginning of August, they stepped into the ring at Pony Finals for the first time. Then, just weeks later, at the Sedgefield A Show August 27–30, they qualified AGAIN—this time for Pony Finals 2027! 🏆🐴

Qualifying for Pony Finals is a tremendous accomplishment on its own. To qualify, compete on that national stage, and qualify for the following year—all within six months—is something to be incredibly proud of!

But what makes me proudest is how much Hazel has progressed along the way. Behind these accomplishments are hours in the saddle, lessons, hard days, and the determination to keep learning. Her dedication shows in her riding, her confidence, and the partnership she continues to build with Bentley. 💚

As her mom and trainer, watching her hard work turn into these milestones has been so special. Hazel, you have accomplished so much in six months, and you’ve worked hard for every bit of it!

Next stop: Pony Finals 2027! ✨
