ESQHA Fall Show; One of our favorite shows every year has come and gone and what a blast we had! Personal bests, good rides, even better company- we loved hanging with our barn family but also connecting back with friends from all over, celebrating their wins just as much as ours! Some highlights
🏎️Little Red Assets & Rebekah Watson🏎️
🥇Circuit Champ Open 3yo Geldings
🥇Circuit Champ Amateur 3yo Geldings
TOP 5 & 6 in the Rookie Amateur showmanship
🥈Reserve Circuit Champ All Breed W/T HUS with Kara
The not so little, 3 yo had quite a show and is really figuring out how to be a show horse! Handling all the excitement, traffic, and long week all in stride! He had a great debut under saddle, placing 2nd & 3rd in the All Breed Walk Trot HUS. “Oakley” also really stepped up his showmanship game, Rebekah and him are starting to find their groove, but with their toughest patterns to date, they mostly stayed out of the penalty box and even plus’ed on multiple maneuvers! So much growth for the both of them and we can’t wait to watch them hit the ground running next year!!
🦋Reinvest in Blue 🦋
W/ Elouise Scanlon
🥇Circuit Champ Leadline
W/ Kara
TOP 2 & TOP 6 in both Lv 1 Trail & All Breed Trail
“Lucy” had a great week, winning the Leadline with Elouise unanimously under all judges all week. She also knocked the rust off and played in the trail pen, landing some great scores as the week went on! VERY big news and exciting things coming next year for this horse and a very special little girl!!

🥈Reserve Circuit Champ Open 3yo Mares
TOP 5 Lv 1 Green HUS
This talented filly came out swinging and we are so happy with her progress and mindset- Biggest HUS class she’s ever done and she didn’t miss a beat, she rode around great all week; Hindsight we wish we had entered the pleasures too but regardless we are over the moon with her performances!
🎉Hunting For A Party🎉
W/ Eliza Murray-Merring
TOP 2 & TOP 5 Amateur W/J WP
W/ Sawyer Merring
TOP 6 Youth W/J WP
TOP 3 Youth Halter Mares
W/ Conrad Merring
TOP 2 & TOP 5 Leadline
“Boo” and her crew got to come out again and show; This time the whole family got in on it! Eliza’s Western Pleasure debut really made a statement with 14 in the class landing 2/3/4/4. Sawyer also made it through his maiden voyage by himself in W/J WP, fighting back some nerves he still landed 3/3/4/6! He didn’t get the halter day he normally gets as “Boo” apparently had to go potty, and had to do the potty dance during her class, he still landed top 3! Conrad also finally got to take the pretty grey horse for a spin and had an awesome ride in Leadline landing 2 & 4, with work and school coming back up on Monday they went home before Leadline & halter on Sunday, but still had a great show! So excited to see the whole family enjoying her!
🍩Too Chocolatey For U🍩
W/ Paula Powell
TOP 5 & 6 Amateur W/J WP
W/ Elouise Scanlon
TOP 5 Rookie Youth SMS
Chloe being the angel she is showed for her girls this week! With minimal riding prep before the show Paula and Chloe landed 3/4/5/6 in the Amateur W/J WP out of 14. Elouise practiced so hard and came out 4/5 in the Rookie showmanship earlier in the week- one early quarter kept her out of the top 6 the next go, but seeing a 6yo attack these patterns against Sr Youths and seeing her scores almost match them- it shows how much she tries- and without that early quarter she would have been right back in the top 5 again in her 2nd go! Hearing the warm up pen erupt in applause after her patterns makes us all so happy and proud to see the horse show community behind her!
🔥Suddenly Too Hot🔥
TOP 3 Open 2Yo Mares
This filly stood great for her first time showing and just her 2nd time off the farm! So much to look forward to as she matures and starts her under saddle career!
☀️Betch U R Hot Chip & Sara McMicken☀️
TOP 5 Open 2Yo Mares
This filly came along for her first time on a trailer, first time off the farm, and handled it like a champ, if a champ takes about 1,000 naps! Sara is looking forward to a new chapter by helping start a baby from scratch, which meant under guidance, teaching her to do all the show horse things; and that she did! What a great first outting for these two
💸 Certain Assets 💸
This filly looked just a little bit different than everybody else with her abundance of white, but she didn’t come to show but to learn! This 2yo came to her 1st show in over a year (only been to 1 show as a yearling)- she handled everything everything as if she was just at a show the week before- she rode in traffic, and the big coliseum, even the youth kid rode her in it! We are so excited to see where this one and her new owner go (official announcement coming soon)
We are sad to see show season go, but happy and blessed for all the memories made! Thank you to my clients/helpers for the help at home while we were away playing in our favorite sandbox; Show Season 2026 you were one for the books!
