Hope would like to introduce everyone to her emotional support snowman! ☃️❤️

She seems to be doing very well and continues to exceed our expectations, but she has an important blood test tomorrow, so we’re hoping for good news. If everything looks good, she may be able to go home with her family for the weekend. I’ll then bring her back next week so I can continue caring for her while they’re at work.

Moments like this are a reminder that our guardian home program is truly a partnership. Hope is deeply loved by both of our families, and throughout this entire journey we’ve worked together to make sure she has everything she needs. While I’ve been caring for her during recovery, her guardian family has been right there beside us every step of the way, helping, supporting, and loving her just as much as we do.

It takes a team to get through something like this, and I’m incredibly thankful for the amazing people who share these dogs with us. ❤️

A huge thank you to Hope’s wonderful guardian for coming to stay with her so I could sneak away and catch up on puppy photos. 🙏

Sapphire and Emerald are officially 10 weeks old, and I’m pretty sure they know how gorgeous they are. 😍 These girls are absolutely stunning and full of personality. I can’t believe how quickly they’re growing up!

I’ve been struggling to find the words for this update.

On Sunday, Hope went into labor early and experienced a very rare and serious complication. Despite best efforts, we lost her puppies, and Hope required major emergency surgery.

Our hearts are broken over the loss of this litter, but Hope has always been, and will continue to be, our top priority. As part of the surgery, Hope was spayed, meaning this is also the end of her journey as a mother.

Right now, every ounce of our energy is focused on helping her recover. She is resting, eating, wagging her tail, and still managing to flash that sweet smile, but she remains in a critical stage of recovery and has a long journey ahead of her.

As a result, things may be a little quieter here for a while. Puppy updates may be less frequent, and you will likely see fewer posts as we focus on Hope and her care. Please know that all of our puppies are being well cared for, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support and help from family and friends during this time.

If you have a moment, please keep Hope in your thoughts. ❤️

A quick litter update! ❤️

Sadly, Sansa’s breeding to Niner was unsuccessful, so she won’t be having puppies this summer. We’ll be trying this pairing again in the future.

But I’ve been keeping a little secret... 🤭 Hope was bred to both Bentley and Ollie! So while we won’t be getting merles from Niner, there’s still a chance we may see some from Ollie this season. 🤞✨

Additionally, we’d like to officially introduce Brady & Fiji’s western themed litter 🤠 From left to right: Stetson, Wrangler, Cheyenne, Dolly, and Dakota. We are obsessed with their gorgeous coats and masks! Just like Brady’s last litter, these babies are calm, content, and hardly make a peep. Brady is doing an amazing job with them. 👌👌👌
