Elsa & Mochi 🤍 They’ve been best buddies for a while now, but their story is one worth remembering.

Elsa has always been with her family, and when Mochi needed a new home, we helped connect him with Elsa’s family. Watching them together, it really does feel like they were always meant to find each other. 🥹

But this is also a good reminder of why ethical breeder support matters.

When choosing a breeder, ask what happens if life changes and you can no longer keep your dog. A responsible breeder should be willing to take their dogs back or help find them a safe, appropriate new home — at any age and under any circumstance.

Life can throw unexpected things our way. Families change, circumstances change, and sometimes rehoming becomes the best decision for everyone involved.

A good breeder should never want one of their dogs to become part of the shelter population. Our responsibility to the dogs we bring into this world doesn’t end when they leave our home. 🐾❤️

New to Pomskies? 😍

One of the questions we get asked most often is, “What are Pomskies like temperament-wise?”

A Pomsky is a mix of a Pomeranian and Siberian Husky (and occasionally American Eskimo), bringing together traits from some wonderfully social, intelligent, and companion-oriented breeds. 🐾

Pomskies are bred first and foremost to be companion dogs. They’re affectionate, playful, intelligent, curious, and happiest when they’re included in everyday life. They tend to make wonderful family dogs, are excellent with children, and many truly thrive with the company of other dogs. They love being part of the action and usually want to be wherever their people — or their dog friends — are. ❤️

But they aren’t necessarily “people pleasers.” They can be incredibly smart while still having an independent streak, which can make training a little more challenging than with breeds that are naturally really eager to please. They do best with consistency, patience, and finding what motivates your individual Pomsky.

A beautiful puppy is only part of the picture. We’re focused on producing puppies with the temperament, social foundation, and confidence to become wonderful lifelong family companions. 🏡🐾

Here is Lux’s 9-month update! 🤍 He’s still hovering right around 10–11 lbs, and we’re enjoying getting some extra time with him today!

For those who are newer here, we don’t have any boys living in our household full-time. Our studs live with trusted friends and family in guardian homes and come to visit when their guardians are on vacation or when it’s time for breeding.

This allows us to keep all of our litters thoughtfully planned and our number of dogs at a level where each one can receive plenty of individual attention and live as a loved family member first. 🐾

We have something exciting to share! 🎉 Remember Spark, Flash, and Boom from our Firework litter? Well, they’ve all settled into their new homes and now ALL THREE have Instagram accounts! 🥹🐾

Spark is now Cali, Flash is now Mochi, and Boom is now Yuna! ❤️ We love getting to follow along as our past puppies grow up, so of course we had to share their accounts with you all too!

Saying goodbye to Wrangler was HARD! 🥹 I was so lucky to get to spend a lot of extra one-on-one time with him, and he definitely left a big paw print on my heart.

But swipe to the second/third photo for something pretty amazing… Wrangler traveled all the way to Wisconsin and was reunited with his sister Dakota, now named Cali! 🥹🐾

There is truly no bigger compliment than a family coming back for a second puppy so quickly. Thank you so much for giving these two siblings the chance to grow up together. ❤️

That morning sunshine glow on Eevee is just so pretty! ☀️✨

Eevee is a past puppy from Suki and Wh***ey and one of our future moms. We also have plans to take her, along with a few of our other dogs, to compete in the Pomsky Dog Show in Oregon this October! It should be really fun 😁
