March 2026 → August 2026
Same exercise, same horse, five months apart. In March, Honey’s Hope was bulging through his outside shoulder, losing rhythm through the turns, and couldn’t hold a consistent four strides between poles on the “circle of death” — four poles on a 20m circle. In August: steady, consistent four strides between each fence, shoulder controlled, bend consistent the whole way around, now over jumps.
This exercise is deceptively simple and brutally effective for building straightness and rhythm — especially in a horse who wants to drift through his body rather than bend through it. Five months of consistent work got us here.
Thank you to for trusting us with this horse throughout the process 🍯🐴
