Had the best time at with Tyson this past weekend! Lots of homework is coming out of the show, but for only being a partnership for less than three months that is to be expected. Over all I was super impressed with the show and cannot wait to go back with more horses! Huge thanks to Sarah Kasper or being Tyson and my emotional support human this weekend, all your help and support is truly appreciated.

IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!! The first horse show of our season is this weekend and I am rearing (hopefully not literally) to get out there and continue exploring my partnership with Tyson! While naturally I’m very competitive I try to always treat the horse shows as fact finding missions that give me homework for my training. The biggest thing to remember is that if your goal is experience it’s hard to lose!

Well they say it takes a year to get to know a horse… off to a great start with Tyson having a successful first jump school at this past weekend! A LOT to improve upon but aside from his super talent, this horse‘s brain makes him so incredibly easy to get along with. Very excited for the future of this horse.

Very grateful to have my saddles that allow me to stay so confident in my position while I get to learn the buttons on a new horse.
