When the ring floods and the rain wont stop but you have kids willing to come brave the rain and ride!!! ❤️ This is the second day in a row we have had kids out here riding in the rain!!! Thankfully so far the lightning is staying away. And our awesome lesson ponys have all voluntarily chosen to stay outside, except for our little ol lady flicka who is tucked away inside under a cooler to help her stay toasty and warm. They could all care less about being in the rain let alone riding in the rain!!!

For anyone running across our posts for the first time we dont have a cancelation fee in place exactly for this reason. Not all kids or adults are able to or want to ride in the rain and we 100% support that. But we also dont mind coming out and being outside when its just raining. We do have a lightning policy in effect and will pause, cancle or reschedule lessons if we are dealing with lightning storms. But if its just raining we will work on excersizes that are suitable and safe for our large grass riding arena!!!

Brand new asphalt millings driveway. We are super excited to have something that should help us avoid the severe tire rutting we were getting from all the vehicle traffic! My amazing husband is going to reset the gates so they dont drag on the ground to avoid having them drag across the new driveway!

We (Aka My amazing Husband and my Parents) will be working around the farm on Saturday (9/12) if anyone is free and would like to come lend a hand. We will be working on cleaning up around the ring, cleaning the cement circle down by the barn, cleaning/stripping and refilling some of the stalls. And if we have enough extra hands we can also work on repairing some of the fencing in the fields where we have the lesson horses.

If your able to come, we will be working from around 7:30/8am until around 4pm.

Some photos from the rodeo! Everyone did such a good job and we had so many of the kids beating their best scores!!! Scores and videos coming later! It was a crazy day but we are incredibly blessed that everyone made it home safe and sound at the end of the day. Natasha took a tumble helping get Cupcake into the chute and she got checked out at the ER and thankfully only strained some things and didnt have anything broken. Then on the way home one of the students and her family hit a loose black cow that darted across the road. Thankfully they were ok and safe and were able to get home safely. And all of this after another girl had a riding accident as well at the rodeo, we are keeping her in our thoughts and prayers that she makes a full recovery. It was just such a crazy day but everyone made it home safe and sound and at the end of the day that is the most we can ask for. Thank you so much to all the amazing families who help make the youth rodeo happen. Its such a blessing to be able to be surrounded by such amazing people!

I had surgery yesterday and it was a better outcome than originally anticipated. They removed the bone fragments in my knee that were restricting it from bending and straightening correctly. Then they did a full ACL replacement. They were also planning on fixing and trimming my meniscus as needed but it turned out that the severity of my tear caused it to go into the blood flow area which allowed my meniscus to heal itself completely with the 48 days of healing I did between the Injury and my surgery. So st least the time I spent off my leg was worth it long term! Now I start the grueling process of my ACL rehab. Incredibly thankful for my amazing surgeon Dr.Roche up at UF Sports Orthopedic Surgery Center. Today I start my PT and also get to see the images and videos from when my surgery was happening which I am super excited about seeing. I know PT will be a long grueling process but I am very thankful to be on the recovery side of things. Currently the nerve block is slowly wearing off but so far the pain is nominal and im doing really good!!!
